Hi Kristy, Lance, Taylor and Makayla!
I think you have a nice collection of books for homesteading. Many great resources that you will be able to go back to and reference.

Loved your video! My mother, before she passed, used to have several staged breakfasts. My husband and I joked about "second Breakfast" from the Hobbit. Then we had our daughter and she had second and third breakfasts! I saved your books in my Amazon wish list. Thanks!

Greetings from neighboring Arkansas and thank you for the book recommendations. Your daughters are very confident and well spoken in front of the camera. Glad to hear that they take part in the family homesteading projects. For the young lady who likes her rabbits, she may want to check out Megan Hight from Living The Hight Life channel. Her books on rabbit care are the best I've seen.

I love this collab. Can anyone participate?
I've been using Pomona's Universal Pectin for over 20 years and never knew they have a cookbook. I'll be checking that out. 😊 I've developed my favorite recipes over the years just based on their insert instructions, and I'm very happy with what I'm already doing, so hopefully the library will have the book to check out before buying.
Seed to Seed is the best. My youngest (now 26) was the one that got into gardening first when he was 8, and Seed to Seed was one of his first books. He started working and supporting us when he was about 13 or 14 (single mom), and by the time he was about 15 he no longer had enough time to be the full time family gardener ... I had to learn how to run things (and for now, I'm still running the plant starts and seed saving side of things). Seed to Seed has been our faithful companion throughout our entire gardening journey, and it's such a blessing to have almost all of our own seeds from year to year. Now I just add one or two new things each year if I feel like it. My youngest has a pretty fast approaching goal of half the work week working outside the home and the other half at home in the garden and farm - then we'll be more of a team again since I live on his property. Since each of my children have their own properties, I assign certain crops for seed to each of them as needed. Some things just get hand pollinated, though.
The Dahlia book is also really good!!! My oldest (a son) got into growing dahlias about 10 years ago, and we're hooked!! That book is a nice resource. It's fun to share ... every spring he goes through the tubers, lays aside what's for us, and brings the rest to our fellowship to give away. He also gives them to people in the community. He's scaling back a little so they don't take over too much of his time, but we have our favorites and will focus on those from this year onward.
I've never used the Ball book ... just the USDA one. It's no frills (much like Seed to Seed, really!) ... just the bare bones basics. There's a free version online, but I am an "in hand" reader so I can add my notes.
I definitely have my favorites homesteading books!! Even though I have a nice library of books, I tend to use only a few most of the time. What's the saying? 20% of what you have for 80% of the time? Something like that ... though my ratio would be more like 10% of my books. Or 5%. 😊
    Thanks for sharing!
