The amount of warning signs and red flags were there even before you arrived and even nung naglalakad ka na you always feel uncertain and kinakabahan 😭 grabe, para akong nasstress knowing kung anong nangyari sa'yo after. 🥺 i'm just glad you're safe. Yung nandun ka sa kabilang part ng airport, sitting for an hour (maling place pala), yung ikaw ang pinaka-last passenger na sumakay sa plane, yung malelate kna dapat, yung fact that u couldve missed THAT flight...they're all signs. maybe a way of the universe telling you not to. and its easy to miss those, especially kung naka-fix na ung loob mo in doing something. Anyway, I love your vids. The moment i watched one of ur vlogs, i follwed u right away. Take care of urself. Pray.

Yes po meron tourist taga ibang bansa like 2015 nagustohan nya ang ang columbia so bumlik sya sa lugar at nag reside na don, bumili ng bahay tapos may isang araw na tulis ay talagang sinaksak sya sabi pa nya"i let my guard down"..kaloka kahit u let ur guard up, kung gusto nila manulis wla ka ng magagawa so ang ginawa nya is binenta nya ung bahay sa lugar na un kasi super unsafe at bumalik na lang sya sabirth country nya .. sabi pa nga nya , i do not reccomend tourist to go that country bcus very unsafe. Dapat u also speak spanish kasi once na inde ka maka speak spanish, automatic na tourist ka na sa paningin ng local kaya easy target daw.

@@ChichiRenee-bn3qy Not sure lang po ah pero may mga features po ang mga cameras ngayon na maaaring mag-sync agad ‘yung videos at photos na na-film mo sa isang cloud-based na storage like iCloud. For example sa GoPro, may Quik po siya na application. Pwede mo pong mai-upload via loval wifi/bluetooth ‘yung videos na naka-store sa SD Card ng camera mo. Siguro ‘yung sa kay Francis po automatic na na-upload ‘yung files nya sa iCloud kahit na DJI ‘yung cam nya. Parang nabasa ko din po sa iba nyang posts na phone niya po yata ‘yung gamit nya dyan sa pag-vlog nyan. Just not sure. If iPhone po ang ginamit nya, automatic na ma-sy-sync sya sa iCloud kung ganon ang settings nya.

I had the opportunity to visit Colombia last 2015 for a business trip. Pinadala ako company to pilot a program. Bago pa kame umalis, sinabihan na kame ng mga counterparts namen sa Bogota na di kame pwede lumabas ng kame kame lang. lahat ng lakad namen with companions na local. Yung part ng Bogota na pinuntahan namen is the business district na nasa mataas na part (like Baguio feels) kaya mejo okay. Pero bumaba din kame para maexplore ung mga rivers and some tourist spots. I had a great time naman and earned new friends. Accgd to them may gated communities sa Colombia and even in Bogota kasi super dami ng kriminal and drugs. Di rin kame pinabili ng any candies or chocolates kasi baka daw may drugs and maharang kame sa airport.
Ang dami ng early signs sayo na takot dahil marami kang nalaman dyan sa lugar na yan, pero disregard mo pa rin at nagtiwala ka pa rin sa mga tao dyan. Your choice your responsibility.

Tama naman si kuya Francis go out of your comfort zone... ako kasi natakot mag travel mag isa ay wala akong maka usap so pag gusto ko may maka usap..wala ga nganga na lang ako tapos kung gusto ko isama kapatid ko ako magbabayad sa airplane ticket, sa travel budget namin two, sa pagkain, hotel, etc kaya wag na lang at ung friends ko parang no communication kami kasi lumayo na ako sa kanila.
So uhh still di ko kayang mag travel mag isa, i think naka depende talaga yan sa tao kasi very introvert din ako. Like sa maraming tao, it feels like im being choke. Kaya mostly nasa nature ako , less people ay minsan ako lang mag isa don sa nature , 40 mins drive lang.

This is a scheduled post in youtube. There is such thing as scheduled upload. The incident transpired on his last day in Colombia, and he stayed there for 10 days which means within 10 days he already posted several contents.
This person had experienced the worst event in his life he doesn't wish anyone to experience and he doesn't deserve the hate from us instead we take a pieace or 2 lessons here.

Lalo na kung meron silang ganyang reputation.. Medyo di ka lang talaga nagblend sa locals kaya nagiistandout ka sa crowd.. Nacaught mo attention nila. But thank God you are safe. Lesson learned.. Colombia has the reputation of having high crime rate. So after watching your previous videos, I watched other travel vlogs and most of them say almost same experience as yours. Your viewers should learn and be warned if they feel like visiting Colombia.
Yeah and like everyone else they deserved a second chance so I gave it a try. I failed but it’s okay at least Im fine now
@@franciscandiyey next time when visiting another country, do some research prior. I read and heard many foreigners giving tips or "not to do in Colombia" . One of which, is not to be flashy because that's going to caught the attention of robbers and you will be their target.There's nothing wrong about wearing expensive or nice things but Colombia is not the place to do that. Foreigner tourists who have been there many times, know the drill: never ever wear anything that will make you look like you have lots of money in the pocket.
Even staffs in hotels, bar or anything local are known to be an accomplice of robbers. I know you had the idea how dangerous and risky Colombia is, but you went there anyway because it seems you're trying to make an "awra". I can't blame you though, because I also find Colombia as land of gorgeous,hot and handsome men. I love Colombian men so much, very attractive. But it is too dangerous and not worth the risk.
I agree crime happens everywhere. But there are certain countries that have a higher chance of you getting mobbed or even murdered. Since Columbia is NOT one of the safest countries in the world, you should have stayed in a well known hotel instead of a hostel. Anyway, nangyari na so let's all learn from it. Good that you're sharing this para na rin awareness for other travelers. =)
