While this seems like just another eVTOL model to consider, the Doroni H1-X has severl advantages over all projects. Its priority is the comfort and safety of the passengers, so it’s made to withstand any possible issues during the flight. Each propeller is driven by the dedicated electric motor and even the loss of a single motor won’t put you under the risk.
Doroni Aerospace is a very promising company that now offers just preorders with no ready-to-use machine available. But we expect that in two years anyone will be able to buy the H1-X and have a personal flying car.

40mi max IN A PLANE is a bit disturbing. The H1-X actually needs an EV/ICE hybrid power system, given the weather isn't going to be perfect all the time (ie/eg) wind, rain and/or snow will severly reduce the 40mi max range.
Houses are a million now so 350k isn’t that bad at all. Ehang is 410k

Yes.... But if the sole purpose is a convenient commute, it's sufficient.
There in lies part of the problem, the current model is going to be limited to a very, very, very niche market a/k/a the general public is not going be buying these & commuting, let alone running errands with them.
Don’t get me wrong “if” Doroni can actually pull this off & sell a couple 100/1000 as backyard adult toys, to those that can afford them, hopefully Doroni will focus on offering “taxi-cab” models that can shuttle 4+ people between key points, in crowded cities ❤

Yes, the older one is a concept and the H1-X (the cooler looking one) is the one people can buy. Unfortunately, too little footage now available.
