- Short clip of freshly installed Remus axle back on my 540i, running stage 2 MHD tune currently and i think exhaust burbles set to medium, also has a VRSF sports cat fitted

Could you please tell me where you purchased your rear diffuser? It's absolutely gorgeous!
Its an M5 stylre replica, I got it on ebay.de, it was only about 130 euro, it doesn't fit properly with the Remus tips so I've since changed to a 550i diffuser
Sounds great. Are you still running the factory resonator?
VRSF sports cat and the Remus axle back only, standard centre section currently. Plenty of volume like this. There is some soft MHD burbles on the tune here also

@@caiodini756 a small bit of drone at certain low rpm's, its expected though when you couple a sports car with the Remus system

I am wondering where you get the diffuser that could fit the Remus 102mm tips, mine's diffuser could not fit in the tips. Would you mind sending the link for me to get the exhaust tips?
The only diffuser i could find to fit was the oem 550i diffuser from BMW, the one in this video rubs badly off the outer tips and was removed afer a few days
any regrets not going with the midpipe too?
the clips I've heard of the full catback are too loud/obnoxious for a 5er IMO, i think this is perfect. I have the same DP, thinking of this axle back with the stock mid pipe same as you.
I would not want it any louder. as you said on a 5er this is loud enough. I would be tempted to try the remus midpipe to see how the sound or volume changes but , im happy with how it is currently
@@InnaB58 is the drone any worse that stock cruising at 100-120 on the highway?
@@kamac1980 If you leave the exhaust valve open there is a slight increase in drone at highway speeds, with the valve operating as normal(closed while cruising) there is no noticeable increase in drone for me

Do you have to get the tips as well? I see the price jumps up a ton when you add the tips
You don't have to get the Remus tips but you will need to then fit some tips to put on. I have since switched to smaller Matt carbon black tips as they are a bit more subtle than the big chrome ones
Is this 200 cell vrsf downpipe? does it smells bad?
Yes its the VRSF sports cat, there is only a slight smell on first cold start for a minute, which is only noticeable if you stand behind the car
Can you post the link to the m550i diffuser, mine is rubbing bad.

No, its just an m5 style diffuser, it was rubbing on the outer tips as the openings are not wide enough, iv'e since replaced it with an m550i diffuser section and the fitment is perfect
