I have so many questions about how I care for my heat friendly wigs, I hope you enjoy this and find it helpful! Thank you for spending some time with me today! xoxo
I’m happy to see your video on heat friendly fibers because I fell in love with a hf style right out of the gates. Ellen Wille Elan. It’s been my first and only style. It’s a short style so it wasn’t until winter and turtlenecks that my ends began to look frayed and dry. So far i still haven’t used a flat iron on the ends though I suspect it would do them good. I have used the JR steamer and the Silicone Bamboo treatment which helped a lot. I think I’ll order that tiny flatiron after seeing yours.
Love your videos! So helpful! Just starting the wig journey, due to my hair thinning and receding. I'M 74, but everyone thinks I look 54! I purchased the director's pick, but I can't get the fluffiness. It looks clumpy to me. I try all the tricks, like shaking it and finger fluffing. Also, the top front wants to fall forward. I am tempted to straighten it for a different look. Or maybe wash it?
Hi Joyce, have you tried using some wig wax or sea salt spray, that will help separate the fibers; as far as the front you might might have to steam it to train it to go back off the face. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for this video. Ive.not had good luck with heat friendly in the past but just ordered Montecito. Thought I would give it another shot. Great timing on your video for me.❤
It depends on the brand of wig, check the manufactures website for their suggested temperature, also the retailer where you bought the wig should be able to tell you. Thanks for watching.
I just purchased Raquel Welch's trend setter basic cap. There are short hairs standing straight up on the crown some approximately 1 inches.. Water doesn't work, low heat doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to get them to lay down? I don't think a hair spray would be strong enough.
Yes, you can search my channel for How To Curl and you will find it, it is a fairly new video. Also, I responded to the question you left on my video on the WigStudio1 UA-cam channel about how to use a hot air brush. Thank you for watching.

When you have to do two handed styling, do you use a block head on a floor stand , If so, can you recommend?
I like a block head on a floor tripod, I ordered it on Amazon.
Your videos are always so helpful Eileen ♥️

I just got one of the Tressallure heat stylers. It was on special with wig wax and leave-in conditioner. Can’t wait to use it!

What heat setting do you use with the l’ange straightener? I got my first heat friendly wig.

I would probably try to steam them (if you haven't tried that yet). xoxo
Steam worked perfectly!
