    How did you make sure the metal rails where 100% parallel over such a long span?

      The saw cut the wood on first cut so it will be parallel to the metal rail :)

    Who sells the grooved base plate for the saw?

      You can made one with some plywood and a router.

      equinoxefr75 Love the simplicity of your design. Your base looked like aluminum in the video. Might make my base from polycarbonate or Formica.
      Now, to find a way to add a non-slip, anti-splinter edge strip to the track board, like Festool's.
