My home town I grew up in I was nearly 16 .family and I moved away and never looked back with regrets no seeing this video of Chesham .we moved to Norfolk and omg it’s absolutely beautiful.we have the broads ,countryside’s and the beach not far from us .I went to Newtown infants .brushwood and lowndes secondary for girls .I don’t recognise Chesham now it’s all round abouts and traffic lights .I still have my good memories of Chesham as kid it was great and great friends too👍🏻😊.Thank you so much for sharing on here 😊
Nice to see the wall on the left at 9.53 still there. Over 40 years ago I was walking along the top of it next to the busy road on other side and a police car stopped. Copper said “Do you know who Blondin was?” Then told me to get off in no uncertain terms. Funny what you remember.
I used to live in Chesham, it was a beautiful town, with an old market hall (since demolished). Now, it looks just like any other boring town, full of roundabouts, and twee shops and restaurants, and not much else. No longer any character. Couldn't live there, now.
Yes I remember that toy shop. Plus Chapter One the bookshop, Tiger’s Eye for gifts and Chittendens for electricals. Sadly looks pretty run down with bog standard shops nowadays.

Last time I was there that wasnt pedestrianized and the Lebanese place was a great toy shop
