Legacy Clownshow Club should be embarrassed at this point. New manufacture and still running just as garbage as last year, meanwhile they’re former driver they dumped mid-season is ahead of both Legacy cars in points.
To add what Darian had said, the Atlanta race he qualified top15 but didn't have the ability to show that. At Pheonix, he had a top10 car all day and just got bumped out in the last 10 laps. At Bristol, he climbed 10 spots in the first 20 laps but had a tire go down and they just couldn't get back on the lead lap. At COTA, in the first few laps he climbed like 10 positions but had a mechanical problem and they didn't run good after thar. Had a solid day at Richmond, and was on pace for a definite top15 and maybe a top10 at Texas until an untimely caution put him a lap down. He's had some great speed and great runs that some unfortunate circumstances have stopped him from showing. Hopefully he can continue this rise and make the playoffs.
It is great but we haven’t gotten to the All-Star Race. We said Truex was looking good last year and he fell apart at the end of his year. Let’s just be careful because it could just be a good start.
John Hunter is in the 42 now and having a season from hell, maybe it isn't the driver that needs fixing. it is a new team and will take some time, but they are not looking up to par right now.
Stewart Haas Racing really surprised us so far this year. Sure, they've still had their struggles, but Briscoe, Gragson, Berry and Preece all have shown a decent amount of promise. How long they will keep this up remains a question mark.
We have to give credit to SHR so far this season. I expect this team to be irrelevant and be outside the playoff picture but this year if things go right, they could have at least 2 cars in the playoffs. The team is making progress and hopefully they can get back to the front of the field soon.
I'm not surprised about Noah. I loved watching him in the Xfinity series. Many people wrote him off as a no-talent rich boy who would definitely fail. Yes, his Cup career started off really rough, but he's turning it around. I expect good things from him. He deserved a second chance.
Honestly I feel like dis gonna be similar to Elliot Sadlers story in NASCAR but reversed. Both seemed like the next big thing in their series (cup and xfininty) while Sadler would drop down to the xfinity series and be a championship contender. I feel like Gragson is eventually going to be a championship contender in cup. He’s with a team that’s practically a backmarker at this point, and his run at Dover was probably the best run out of any of the Stewart Haas cars. He’s gonna get a better opertunity in cup, quite possibly in the better Haas car in the 4, or possibly the 19 Gibbs car if he keeps getting top 10s and maybe top 5s in this equipment.
Noah has overachieved this season, considering how badly Ford has performed overall. Wouldn't be surprised if he scores his first win this year or next.
Stewart knows racers when he sees one. Some of the best drivers they had, Stewart asked them to driver for him. Its just these last few drivers, Ford got in the way. Its nice to see, Smoke get his way

I think something semi-glossed over in this video is his consistency. I'd actually say Dover was the opposite of how he's been all year. Dover, outside of Atlanta (because we never got to see anything), could have been the slowest he's looked all year and that pit strategy got him to the front. He was likely no better than a 17th place car. Now if we look at his middling finishes, you could almost argue each one should've been better. Phoenix he was probably closer to an 8th place car than 12th, Richmond as well. Texas he was probably the 5th best car all day and got screwed by a JHN spin that pinned him as the first car 1 lap down (after Zane Smith's free pass) and with the wave around, he couldn't get around cars on fresh tires who lucked themselves into the top 15. Bristol he was climbing really well before dealing with a plethora of tire issues that eventually lead to mechanical issues, maybe that's on him for not preserving tires better. And COTA I think one of the biggest things that's happened to him all year that went COMPLETELY untalked about was how Suarez literally cut him off after spinning out in qualifying lap 1, Noah had to jam on his brakes and flat spotted his tires, never getting to complete a single qualifying lap and ruining a weekend for a guy who's not good on road courses to begin with before it could even begin. With all of those troubles at COTA he still climbed 15 spots before a mechanical issue at the start of stage 3. So I know no one cares about a random commenters opinion, but great job with the video. I'm obviously extremely biased in saying that I do envision him as the future of SHR. As their talks of downsizing continue, I hope he stays on board and they become a 2 car team with him and Briscoe so they could funnel resources into them instead of 4. Or if they do maintain 4 cars, I hope it's with a move to Honda and they become Honda's darlings. Dude has all of the potential in the world and it's awesome seeing people take notice.
It’s crazy that Noah is 21st in standings ahead of his replacement in the 42 JHN who is 22nd in standings. I could be wrong, but I think Stewart wanted to sign Larson but Ford said no.
@@FazziBear11 yeah you are right
@@FazziBear11You are. If Tony had his way, Larson would be in the 14 right now.
Tony Stewart hasn't won a NASCAR race in general since August 2022 (Michigan/Richmond) but Gragson will win this season
Funny you say that Noah was running pretty fast in the 16 in that race
Actually it was Richmond the week after Michigan because harvick went back to back
2025; wins for stewart haas if he returns

Go get ‘em Noah!
Bro got suspended for liking a post? Wtf lmao.
Was a racially incentive meme
It's going to depend on if they downsize this offseason, because if they do I think him and Preece are gone. Briscoe is the current face of the team and Tony is very high on Berry, so it's hard to see him getting dropped so early on. It'll be interesting to see, especially since the 10 car has always been the odd man out at SHR
Noah is the new leader of the team if you pay attention to their pr
Hot take but Zane rookie season is currently more worse then Noah's (it's hard to say this as a Zane fan)
I feel Noah got screwed with legacy.
I'm considering this his first season.
Hot take. Gragson wins before Ty Gibbs
I could see that. Though Ty Gibbs won the Xfinity series championship. Course, Xfinity series success doesn’t mean Cup success like that. And regardless if I like or dislike Ty Gibbs, it’s unfortunate what happened with Ty Gibbs just after he won the 2022 Xfinity series championship.
@@bighand1530 yes Gibbs won the championship but Gragson had the same amount of wins

Carson Hocevar had no problems to do well with that #42 car
he's 20th in the cup standings as of now with the #77
@@oscarjimenezsr.560 And Ty Dillon was 32nd with that same car last year. So Carson is already ranked much higher even in his rookie year. Imagine where he'll be in 5 or 10 years.
That's more of Carson Hocevar being a generational talent tho. Dude's 20th rn with the 77, outperforming both Zane and Lajoie by a considerable margin
@@zt5547 Carson Hocevar could potentially be a Cup Series champion 5 to 10 years from now.
Legacy Motor Club is definitely the problem. I’m surprised Erik Jones has been able to be as successful as he has been with them.
Also, at 4:11, I wouldn’t have said Noah Gragson, I would’ve said Ryan Preece, easily.
Ryan preece always has been and always will be the modern day below average Cole Custer. A lot of people believed in Noah

It was a racially incentive meme. If it was anything else he wouldn't have been
