I think they could have gave magikarp some moves other than splash. I know it evolves into Garados which can learn cool moves but as you’re leveling your magikarp it gets irritating or boring with it only having splash.😂
I feel like the reason that alomomola isn’t a luv disc evolution, is that a lot of gen 5 was taking the archetypes from the first gens and making new Pokemon to fill those roles (voltorb -> amougus, the mimic. Chansy -> audibo, Healing related ones used by Pokemon centers, etc)
"How can we help Hisuian Avalugg" Maybe it wouldn't need as much help if Game Freak remembered to fix the programming error that stopped Ice types from having any meaningful resistances
I really feel like Delcatty shouldve gotten a better bst. it did get a +20 speed in sun and moon- making its speed 90 instead of its original 70, however, i feel as if it could of gotten boosted further to about 105-110. Delcatty plays more of a support role, so its defense could both be buffed to 70 each, and its HP could be 75-80. Really just making it faster and bulkier would fix it, especially since its a stone evolution, but i doubt pokemon will
Finally a video about this There are so many pokemon in the game (especially gimmik pokemon) which are either extremely interesting or unique in their playstyle, however they are often so bad that you cant even use them casually
It would've been better if Hisuian Avalugg was a fast special attacker with the typing of Ice/Ground. The one thing that irks me is how LITTLE the regional forms change in stats, like +10 and -10 and all that.
Good list, some are my immediate choices too like Sunflora and Luvdisc-Alomomola. For me, some of my favs that feel underwhelming that I'd add are: Meganium. Jumpluff. Ariados. Seviper. Kricketune. Maractus. Grapploct. Spidops. Anyway, new subscriber, I like your voice and expressive tones. Would love to see the channels of fellow gaymers grow, so all the best to you in reaching your goals! 🍀㊗️📈
Oh, Meganium. Good call. It's definitely one of the weaker starters and one of the least beloved. It could use some more attention to bring it up to par with the other starters.
First pokemon I thought of was Onix. Severely underwhelming in the game, even though it looks like it should be a powerhouse. It's a giant ass rock snake. Why is it so weak and its movepool so bad?
H.Avalugg is great in weather. Put it on a team w Alolan Ninetales and Tyranitar. Remember, ice types got buffed this get to get a defense boost in snow, combine that with the special defense in sand, max out special defense EVs, and give it an Assault Vest. Bro becomes extremely hard to get rid of. Give it a Life Orb under trick room, put Recover in its moveset, then give it the Stellar tera and bro is just a tank that can really hurt. I really like the Avalugg line and when I saw the Hisuian version, I IMMEDIATE saw the vision.
Wailord. It's my second favorite pokémon; its HP is great but it REALLY needs a buff in its defenses. It doesn't matter how much HP if you always die to 1 Special or Physical Attack. Normally it can't outlive even 1 thunderbolt. I know that thunderbolt is a super effective attack against a Wailord but c'mon with that HP stat you'd think that you could outlive 1 attack😞
I wouldn’t. Ice/rock makes sense for it visually. I would find ways to work around that fact. I mean, you could make an argument for it being ice/steel or ice/ground but I don’t really know how much it would help.
@THGMR-ox7sd Ice rock does make sense for it visually but it is an awful typing for the beast as designed. I do not understand why whoever is in charge keeps making these ice type tanks. Ices defensive profile makes it explicitly bad at being a tank. If you made it a steel type it would probably be really good. Would it make sense with its visual appearance no, but it would also not suck.
I’ve got a few ideas for how I would change hisuian avalugg. I don’t want to change its type despite it being bad defensively. I’d rather make it slower than regular avalugg so it can be better than it in trick room because why did they make it faster than regular avalugg but still too slow? Or I’d make it really fast even though to me it doesn’t look like it would be the kind of Pokémon to be fast. We know how ice types are only allowed to be fast glass cannons or else they suck. I wish ice also had more resistances at least. I would also change strong jaw to sheer force since I feel like that makes more sense for it since it looks like a snowplough with the extra pieces on it’s face which don’t look like they’re part of its jaw to me. It even makes more sense when you look at the cutscene for when you fight the noble, it uses them to push the snow out of the way. Sheer force! Also, why did they make this Pokémon’s signature move a flinching move when it’s so slow? Gamefreak are you ok? I’d fix that too but I’m not too sure how.
Which Pokemon do YOU think has wasted potential?? 🌟

Amoonguss is NOT voltorb 2.0 😭😭
@ it’s made to fit the roll of a pokeball mimic, obviously it isn’t in how it battles, I just mean what it does in universe.

I still remember when Pokémon's online Pokédex had Hisuian Avalugg listed as an Ice/Ground type lmao
Finally a video about this

Justice for Castform🎉
I was also sad about Fezandipiti when I caught him.
I like the grass monkey 🍃🐒
I like the monkeys

I find it weird how Meowscarada can learn a good number of special moves when it's clearly physical and Skeledirge is the opposite.

Because it was designed as the boss of the first gym
Hisuian Avalugg could be ice and steel, wich would makr the defenses better, but drop the attack slightly

Gold duck should be so much better with a water psychic split.
