I actually liked this pick over cam little from Arkansas. This guy seems to have the big leg And he actually seems like he was already a Ram's fan literally before we drafted him.
He said he grew up liking the Bay Area teams and hoped for the Niners, but knew they weren't in the market for a PK. Makes it all the more sweeter if he makes the game winner vs the Niners.

Last year, the Rams got the best punter in the draft(Ethan Evans), and he was a stud. This year, the Rams got the best kicker in the draft (Joshua Karty). If he lives up to his potential, the Rams will have the best punter/ kicker combo in football. A REAL edge in close games.

Realistically only about half of the draft selections makes the team to make contributions in the regular season. The Rams NEED this pick to 'hit' if they expect to be competitive and make a long playoff run.
Is he consistently accurate from 25-45 yards? If he can hit long range, that is a bonus. But we need accuracy and consistency.
