Per Anthony Fisher at The Rag Company, Brake Buster is too thick even at 5:1. It works even better (and you'll get more foam per pump session) at 10:1 dilution, and the cleaning abilities are just as effective.
I know this is a old vid but I wanted to thank you soo much for explaining the problem to had bc I had that problem for 2 year of owning a foam 2 and didn’t know what the problem was. My only problem was I was not pumping that much.
Thanks for this video. I have my first Foam Pro 2 and couldn't figure out why I was getting a foamy stream as opposed to a foamy wide fan spray. I thought I got a faulty product. You showed me that my problem was that I wasn't pumping it up enough. Thanks again. Ventura...
to be honest ive used both they both work amazing but at pns price point of being half of adams wheel and tire with no dilution instructions I rather use the pns
It should be fine it is a non acid ph balanced and a pretty safe chemical. I have kept mine in it before for a little while but if it's going to sit like over winter or long periods I would still clean it out.
Do we really need to pump that sprayer up over 100x to clean 4 tires? Is it possible the 5:1 ratio is off a bit using the Brake Busters? I was under the impression the new IK foam pro 2 would do 4 tires with a fully pressurized bottle…
It all depends on how much space is in the bottle. The more liquid in the bottle the less pumps. But no. You won't be able to do all 4 tires in one shot. Since it's foaming it doesn't last as long as non foaming solutions
If Only that were true. However, P&S suggests that a 10:1 ratio to be just as effective and being diluted by 2x more, should spray out a bit longer pushing a thinner fluid.
Love it tony. I switch between 1:3 dilution for dirty wheels and 1:5 for maintenance. Are the ik2 larger than the ik1? I believe my ik1 foamer is only 30 oz or so. Also, check out the microfiber madness flat brush if you want to get into those barrels.
Love your videos. Quick question. Which chrome sockets do you think are better the tekton or gearwrench? Looking for some decent sockets to get back into automotive.
They are both good sockets I own both and they have both been great. It's really a preference. Just don't get china gearwrench stuff. It's not as nice.
Personally, I hit it twice....first with the Red orifice tip (wettest) for deeper penetration all the way into the wheel barrel.. let that work for five minutes or so...then switch to the Green orifice tip (driest) and hit it again for rich thick foam that will dwell in place for a while and work for me.
I dont know why ikeep seeing people hose down before using products.... this isnt how you use most products... you want to work on dry for max results.
You aren't wetting the wheel and tire for the product. You're rinsing the wheel and tire to remove any surface dirt and contamination so you get max results when using the product.
@@TonyTheTechnician the product does that. You don’t need to water it and wash off .. the surfactants etc in the product lift the grime .. you agitate the product and then rinse. If it’s heavily soiled then yes I would jet wash first but example is hardly that.. it’s barely dirty.
@steve f just like any car wash you always rinse the car first. You don't just toss soap on it and rinse off. Your right the chemical itself lifts contamination just like soap and other products but you still remove anything possible before using. Otherwise your just working harder. Why wouldn't you simply remove anything possible with a rinse. But if that's how you want to do it then by all means do it your way 👍
@@TonyTheTechnician some products do work like that.. Bolt Hamber auto foam and touchless work exactly like that: This product obviously doesn’t so my bad: I do this with my wheels.. they have a prewash put on them , they are then rinsed and then a wheel cleaner or soap used.

Very good to know thanks for sharing

I get the Super Wash that includes the wheel scrub, when I go to the car wash. Then I spray on some tire shine when I am done.

I just ordered one on lunch. Looking forward to trying it out. I like P+S Brake Buster. I’ll also be trying Adam’s Tire and Wheel Cleaner.
Very nice!!!

good video. I like the foam cleaners.. Good run at Texas last weekend. Hard to get get out of fourth with only two races to go in the season.
Thanks! And ya not much time to move up
Can you store the IK Foam with the product inside?? Or do you clean the bottle every time you complete a job?
Depends on the chemical you are keeping inside
@@TonyTheTechnician How about the Brake Buster Wheel Cleaner?

Hi, Tony, Would you like to review the new MJJC foam cannon Pro?
I could definitely do that. If you want to message me at my email or you can contact me by Facebook or Instagram at TonyTheTechnician
@@TonyTheTechnician Yes, i just send you a DM on instagram.
Only fill half way uae 3 oz of soap. Builds a ton of pressure
Thanks

For the IK sprayer. How much oz of water did you fill it with and product for 5:1.
50oz capacity Sprayer @ 5:1 would be :
10oz product + 40oz Water = 50oz Capacity
@@markg.2501 that's actually not 5:1. A 5:1 ratio would be 41.7:8.3

Oh very nice. Thanks for the brush info. And yes indeed they increased the capacity from the ik1 to the ik2 👍👍👍
I’m not too good with dilution ratios, any help on how much oz should I fill the with water and the p&s brake buster ?
It took my countless dilution ratios to figure out why it wasn’t foaming🤣. Amazon sent me the multi pro 2
Ohh dang lol.
I know right
Can i leave brake buster on the foamer after i use it or do i have to wash it with water and leave it empty every use?
If you use it fairly often it probably not an issue but if you let it sir it's best to wash it all out

Where did you get the pump that is on the P&S bottle from so you don't have to pour the bottle?
I Bought them on Amazon. They are linked in the detailing link in the description
Wich types of foam are u using ?
Ps! Nice review
Nice review. Can I use something like megs gold glass shampoo in this? Will it foam up?
Yes,, I use it for my ik foam pro 2 and it foams alot!
Which color nozzle did you use? I understand they have 3 different types depending on the foam type you need.
Ya I can't even remember I think purple. I'll have to check when I get home. I think I kept what was already installed in it
Grey Is pre fitted by Ik orange for wet foam green for dry foam grey in between
Where did you get the pump for the p&s gallon?
Amazon. I should have it linked under the detail link in the description
perfect
👍
Where can i get the plastic pump that you have on the p&s brake buster gallon i need those it makes it simple to get product in to the foam canon??
It's linked in the description under detailing

You call that a dirty wheel?
It's funny how most of these videos show how effective a product is on a wheel that's semi dirty
🤣 dude first try im like dam this thing sucks haha it turned out way better though thats a nice finish!
Hahaha I was so mad at first. 😂 Thanks man! 👍

Foamer lasts longer if only half full of solution
Thats alot of pumping for 25 seconds of use.
