This item is a posable, Master-Grade injection-plastic kit of an item from the Gundam universe.
This variant of the 00 Qan[T] appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam Senki," and now it appears in Bandai's Master Grade model kit lineup! Equipped with its armor, it also comes with new parts for the GN Sword IV Full Saber, the GN capacitor, and the head antenna. It also comes with stickers, foil stickers and dry-transfer decals for its markings, and a base to support the GN Sword IV. Order it now!

I have had a lot of fun building this particular kit; especially as one who casually constructs them. I work nights. So, I really only work on them at roughly 4 a.m. to unwind. The new logo and Bandai Spirits is because Bandai split their divisions into two. The Blue Bandai Spirits division is going to make figures and kits more aimed at adult audiences, while the standard Red Bandai division is going to make gashapon and shokugan more aimed at kids.
Essentially, Red = Kids, Blue = Adults.

I was really reluctant to get hyped or interested on this "re-issue" of the Quata, since.Quanta is one of my liked suits from 00, but when I saw the new back pack for the new saber attachment, and man, the new GN Saber is this good? I can't pass this! Love that sexy v-fin though. Better than the chunky old version.
The bottom bit on the backpack part of the GN Drive Can be modded to stay in better. Basically cut off the thinner leg offshoot thing (that prevents the backpack from going all the way on) and you should be golden. Did that with mine and I had no issues with the backpack falling off afterwords, and it slides all the way in like a charm. No glue needed.

For a kit that came out just 2 years ago, it was the hardest to find available for a reasonable price. Of all places, Barnes & Nobel came through.

6:40 I did that with my good old MG 2.0 Gundam once. I got it smashed into oblivion.
I was startled when Setsunas screamed "Gundam!" through eye sockets at the beginning.
It's blue because it's a new bandai brand. More like a sub brand.
if you have gundam markers, like the metallic set, grab the blue pen..dont shake it(you dont want the metallic flecks for this)and run the ink over where the sprues were attached, where its discolored, then wipe clean with a kleenex. boom. stress marks ALOT less obvious.
this method can be applied to other colors of plastic but its my recommendation to color test using the part sprues as the testing surface, to determine the correct paint marker to use.
You can get rid of stress marks easily actually. Jus dab a little extra thin cemen on the white marks, let dry for a couple of hours, and then sand it. The white mark will disappear.

Older molds tend to have more mold lines because the mold has worn out more. The new molds of today will start getting mold lines in a few rounds of reprints.
this was the first gundam I got (the original mg though) and I was fairly young so I had no clue what I was doing. but now a few years later I really wanna get this kit and build it again
My first gunpla is the SDCS -0 RX gundam unicorn(they're terrible)and the 2nd is the HG earthree gundam and 3rd is mg 00 qan t (standard/original)
Finally i've been waiting for this reveiw since you post this kit in your ig

This review is so much better than the one zakuaurelius did. Mecha Gaikotsu does so much justice to how good this kit really is.
Zakuaurelius even did the cockpit hatch opening wrong, missed out on the adjustable hip joints, gave wrong info on the right arm armor,
All zaku and his viewers did was complain on the weapons design, how dangerously sharp they are, and the proportion. (The proportion? Seriously? MG and RG have the best proportions)

I never understood UC elitist, AU is pretty great, Barbatos,00 raiser and quanta gundam were my favourite. While in the UC, RX 78-2, NU and unicorn were my picks.

I wanted to buy this in the black Friday winter sale, but the postage was £30 when the kit was £28. The original Qan t had £10 postage price, so the extra sword in the Full Saber makes the box big enough for expensive shipping. So I'm just getting the original.
Just bought this for $48 on sale at a bookstore glad i got this MG
I've had this kit for 3 months, and I gotta be completely honest, it's genuinely one of the worst things I've ever bought with my own money. It's possible mine's defective, but with how many people report issues and how many don't, totalling to about a 50/50 split, it seems to be a quality control problem more than anything else. The joints are hopelessly loose, the weight makes it almost impossible to pose without assistance (of which the stand only partially offers, it's genuinely not enough), armor constantly falls apart, I've even had one piece break from how many times it's come apart and I've had to reassemble it - and it's a joint, not on the main unit but on a blade bit, so some minor intended functionality is now permanently gone. $70, down the drain.

Well, why bandai just don't make like an expansion for the full saber. If like this, that's just like we have to buy mg OO Quanta twice. BTW mecha, can you please review an hg gundam F91? So the blue logo represents all their products meant for an older audience and collectors. The blue logo also signifies Bandai collectors level quality. If you look at the latest Super Sentai and Kamen Rider toys, the logo is still red.

Bandai split into 2, the red logo is bandai, and the blue logo is bandai spirits , bandai is focused on kids toy, and bandai spirits is focused on model kits

I actually quite like the old movable MG hands rather than those exchangeable fingers. In facts, those movable hand are the reason why I choose to purchase MG rather than HG.
Those hands are shit and cant hold anything heavier than beam saber. People constantly complaints about 3.0 hands too. Those fixed hand is the best choice.
The quanta will always be special to me cause my first gunpla was a high grade
What kind of decals does it come with
Got this kit for Christmas, and I DO love it (after some functionality modifications) but is there ANY way to get fixed posing/holding hands? It’s the biggest thing holding this kit back

They got an internal rebranding. Basically they moved/merged all the plamo department to/with another one of theirs.

Long story short bandai did some internal restructuring in regards to gunpla, merging some departments. Because of this, all gunpla from now on will have a blue bandai logo to show its a model kit from bandai. This means nothing to the consumer other than logo is blue instead of red

I got the hg epyon for Christmas. I was tempted to put it out of its misery. But I glued some stuff and tightened up the joints and no It's better butt now by a whole lot
I’m building this kit in 2024 and I’m starting to hate it, or more specifically its decals. Seriously, many long white lines that are 2-3 inches long and are just a massive pain to try and get right. This is the first kit that I’ve ripped a decal on.
I can just disregard the decals, but I really do like how they look on a finished kit. This is just a red mark for me on a nice kit.
Since so many people love this cute when he came out they released it so bandi can get more money

Mecha gaikotsu-san! What do you think when comparing RG quant and MG quant full saber( whithout GN sword IV ). I plan to buy one of them in the new year. which one do you think I should buy? In my my gunpla group in vietnam, everyone suggested that I should buy MG quant full saber because the body ratio of the MG version is nicer than the the RG version. And in fact, I also prefer the mono eyes design of MG( It look so damn cool). But I prefer gunpla with scale 1/144 rather than scale 1/100( for convenience of display and the price is quite cheap for me). What should I buy? please give me some advice, mecha gaikotsu-san. Hi! I have one as well, I have some issues as well, from the arm part keeps falling off, the wrists also is kinda loose. How did you make it more stable for the arm part to support the weapons (especially the full saber and the GN Sword V)of the quanta? Thanks.

I picked this bad boy up while on vacation and gotta say one of the best master grades I've built. I just bought a second one this week and I'm gotta paint and customize it while hopefully having this sit next to my customized mg Barbatos on my window sil.
Honestly I love the full saber version of 00 quanta, in fact the RG version might be my first p-Bandai Kit ^^ especially if I can use the gn sword 4 with a build custom I have planned ^^
would be nice if they sold the GN Sword IV Full Saber as a standalone option unit or something so that people who already own the 00 Qan[T] don't have to shell out the price of a full MG kit for it
Yeah, and it would be nicer if the new legs also sold separately. The articulation is so much better than the old Qan[T]
