Hi mates! Thanks for this experiment. I'm a big fan of 34/70. I like lallemand Diamond too. We've done an experiment with two of them at our brew shop. Now we've been looking forward results... I'll add some information about it ☺️
"If it sucks, it's the yeasts fault, not my brewing skill," said Ed, washing his hands of the business. It's always someone else's fault, though Ed, as he continued to ponder the mystery of who shat in his trousers. I'm a big fan of 34/70, no wonder it would do well in a broad temperature range. I was hoping for more from the Diamond Lager from Lallemand though. I wanna play around with S-33, which is supposed to be the dry version of Imperial harvest which I've used before. I'll report back in somewhere around two years whenever I review that lager.
Enough of the courtship, when are you guys visiting? Very impressed with 34/70. We’re messing with Wyeast West Yorkshire Ale and London ESB this week in a bitter (what do you know about bitter?) and a BIG imperial stout with bourbon soaked oak chips 👀 PS: Manchester United
@@BrewBrosUK Big fan of West Yorkshire, just used it in a commercial bitter and porter (well the Omega version of that yeast). Don't worry, love, we'll visit whenever I convince my boss to send me on an all expenses paid tour of the UK as a "beer education trip". P.S. Man U more like Man Ewwwwwww (or Ewe if you're Welsh)
Thanks for watching. Correct, we say it was a left field choice and we chose it because a Kolsch is a hybrid beer which spends a few weeks lagering as I’m sure you’re aware. We chose it purely for experimentation because this video was all about fermenting lager at room temp which this yeast is suited to.

Love the David Brent reference 👌

You had me at the office reference
Haha! There are various Office references (and Brent looks) throughout our videos. It’s the series that keeps on giving….
Thanks for watching.
Ed, look at the bloody camera! 😂
If you don’t like it “Harv”, maybe you should start your own UA-cam channel…..then you can stare at the camera as much as you like! 😂
@@edmessinger5854 😂
Yeah, too right!
…but how did it compare to the liquid yeast at the right temp? Good vid though bros!
A good question sir! We can’t get hold of any CO2 😬 Well spotted…..we’ll have to do a follow up
@@BrewBrosUK 😥 👍🏻
Haven't watched till the end just yet. But the Kølsch yeast is not a lager yeast it's.an ale.yeast.
