Many thanks Lunar Cowboy,I try to show often the "unusual" towns of Italy, and Guarcino is definitely one not many people know... unfortunately. Charming place, glad you enjoyed it too. Wish you a nice weekend
There is something oddly satisfying and comforting about old, somewhat crooked homes, that aren't parallel to, or at the same height as the next one, or the one after that, all built with different materials, on streets that aren't straight. It's the complete opposite of cookie-cutter, soul-less, planned neighborhoods. The cats are the icing on the cake! That view at 47:48, my God... Since you often showcase small towns of roughly 1500 inhabitants and that you now have 17.5k subscribers, it's cool to put things in perspective : you roughly have the same number of subscribers as a DOZEN of these towns. Congrats!
Dear Hugo, happy always to see you back here) I believe these old and quite forgotten towns truly should be known more... not only the posh cities. It's a joy for me to know I'm not the only one thinking like this and that we all, in this small community we have, enjoy the same things. And to see the names (unfortunately not the faces!) of all of us here in the comments. Almost 3 years by now with this channel... if I think about it.. it's quite a lot. And still a LOT to be discovered I believe. :) The cats there were quite funny but a little "wild" perhaps) Thank you for your words Hugo, indeed, for me it's still shocking to see so many fans here. Wish you a nice Sunday my friend and Grazie as always Ric

Ok, here's my Saturday night with my wife travelling through beautiful Italy again! Just the few minutes I've looked at quickly look absolutely amazing. What a beautiful and varied country is Italy. It's like no other.
Dear Ken, what a pleasure seeing you and your wife here back again, apart from our emails. A charming town... there was an aura of a little sadness somehow, of something "stuck" in time perhaps; at the same time, in some corners I could feel the joy of living. Very peculiar... it must have been the stones, the architecture, the flowers perhaps, or the time of the day and week. Then, reading about its history, one gets truly the idea that this town truly "saw a lot" of life passing by under it. Fascinating place. Wish you a nice weekend my dear friends
I would love to live in Italy even for just 6 months, to have time to explore so many of these towns. Maybe if I make enough friends online between you, Isaac, and my friends in Positano, I'll be able to do that by staying with each person from place to place and mooch off you!!
Guarcino! Dear Riccardo, what a remarkable town this is. It's like stepping back into the distant past and in another time period. The tour of the two churches (St. Nicola and St. Michael Archangel) was very interesting. Are there any existing remnants of the two ancient temples? I can see why Via delle Piagge is considered one of the most beautiful alleys in Guarcino. I must say there were other scenes that were quite picturesque: the flowers and plants displayed in front of the houses from 36:57 to 37:57 and the one at 57:38. The house at 1:00:19 to 1:00:26 with the birds chirping in the background and the abundance of trees and greenery behind the low stone wall. The fascinating walk from 1:00:41 as you turn the corner along the narrow path to the picturesque scene of the house with an array of plants behind the gate at 1:01:47 and then the old building with the steps leading up to the double doors at 1:02:03. Amazing views featuring the old ruins and houses as you near the end of your video. What a treat this was to watch! Also forgot to mention that I also enjoyed Fiuggi and Montecchio, your two previous videos.

Thank you Guys! Indeed, I've had some small "glitches" recently, which I think I found the problems from where they originate. Sometime had some time where the recording had to be re-started. :/ Glad you enjoyed Guarcino though, and wish you a nice weekend my dear friends
Unfortunately not many people living there anymore ... generally only older generations and very old people live in such towns, and younger generations are going away :( Quite a sad fact unfortunately as they are depopulating at a FAST rate. I hope to preserve their memory with these videos actually
Yup, Saturday and very few people around unfortunately :/ in some towns there are so many...in a few unfortunately...not many tourists around. I try to make people realise that also there are towns which are beautiful and so rich in history and deserved to be visited!
I’m claustrophobic and can’t do things like Mazes and slot canyons. I wonder if visiting these byzantine cities would set that off for me. I get a bit triggered just watching.
Hi D, nice to see you back - it could actually be quite an adventure for a claustrophobic person, though I personally can't imagine it. Though, there's always an "open ending" at each alley, so.. hard to say!
Этот город, который вы так грубо описали, имеет историю, предшествующую Франции примерно на 1500 лет ... Я могу себе представить, что история и оценка этого не могут принадлежать обычному парню.
Beautiful video, I hope it will encourage many to visit Guarcino, a wonderful town still waiting to be discovered

A beautiful town, Ric, thank you. Have you been using more cuts/edits during the last few walks recently or am I imagining that?
Thank you Guys! Indeed, I've had some small "glitches" recently, which I think I found the problems from where they originate. Sometime had some time where the recording had to be re-started. :/
Glad you enjoyed Guarcino though, and wish you a nice weekend my dear friends
If you had sat down at 5:14 they would have allowed you some cuddles. They were wary, but not fearful.
🤗 yup Sharon , quite cute. There was also a very cute dog in the video, but I had to cut that part off as she started to bark and it was quite loud)
@@StillWanderer I'd bark too if you interrupted my subbathing.

my mothers family is from Guarcino
Beautiful town Dayday, not well known or touristy but very well kept and tidy. Liked it much
All of these small mountain towns are always so quiet. I wonder why that is. Where are the people and what are they doing?
Unfortunately not many people living there anymore ... generally only older generations and very old people live in such towns, and younger generations are going away :( Quite a sad fact unfortunately as they are depopulating at a FAST rate. I hope to preserve their memory with these videos actually

Grazie dear Demode, nice to see you again here! Long time... wish you a nice weekend and Thanks again 🤗
Where are the people?
Yup, Saturday and very few people around unfortunately :/ in some towns there are so many...in a few unfortunately...not many tourists around. I try to make people realise that also there are towns which are beautiful and so rich in history and deserved to be visited!
I’m claustrophobic and can’t do things like Mazes and slot canyons. I wonder if visiting these byzantine cities would set that off for me. I get a bit triggered just watching.
Hi D, nice to see you back - it could actually be quite an adventure for a claustrophobic person, though I personally can't imagine it. Though, there's always an "open ending" at each alley, so.. hard to say!
ужас каменные джунгли особенно после французских деревень
Этот город, который вы так грубо описали, имеет историю, предшествующую Франции примерно на 1500 лет ... Я могу себе представить, что история и оценка этого не могут принадлежать обычному парню.
