Dessers is a massive massive part of our problems. Your no9 should be holding the ball up and getting us up the park. I dont care how good or bad our midfield or defence is....if our no9 isnt winning any and i mean any 50/50s or duels then its just wave after wave. Hes as weak as a kitten and aslong as hes our main man up top we can absolutely forget it. Btw others to blame but i cant stress enough hes a huge part of our problems.
Good players should be able to adapt to playing anywhere the problem is we have dross, Correct Gerrard has us fit, we worked hard on and off the ball and moved the ball with pace. The manager has no clue what he is doing and Shona said it 2 weeks ago about building from the bottom up, we havent even laid the foundations to build on and this is on and off the park. They werent a great side thats why they are in EL

Against top teams we should be 451, players are not getting back and we get ripped apart, we end up 42 nothing and runners destroy us. Our big issue is we don’t track runners and just get overloaded everywhere. Get 5 across the middle and get tight structure
The midfielders need to play closer together and further up the park . Barron coming deep to collect the ball does not work . We are too slow and think the midfield is the issue
They had rested a lot of their big guns . Also had a look that it was a practice game . Reality is when there is such a gulf in class you need a miracle . This team can’t even boss the poorest teams in the spl let alone compete with decent European outfits . Spurs and Man U may hit double figures . Can’t see another point .
