Owned by Paramount Global through Paramount Pictures (pre-October 1950 and post-March 1962 Paramount Cartoon Shorts) and NBCUniversal / Comcast through Universal Pictures (post-October 1950 to March 1962 Paramount Cartoon Shorts under Harvey Entertainment only).
Although it would be a long list, it would be nice to have a title reference for these! One item to notice, and this is true of all the cartoon studios that ran during this 20-30 years period is how the animation changed from outstanding/detailed/fluid to pure limited crap. People like to denigrate Famous Studios, but their overall work, especially the early years is extremely good.
At the time when Paramount Television existed, Clampett made Time for Beany, which extended from 1949 until 1953. Later he would create a show called Beany and Cecil Show in 1962, which was made by Clampett himself, with his own Studio.
here’s a “one second of every” video for all those true novelheads out there!!!!!!!!1111
also sorry for backseat editing during production :(
Famous Studios cartoons are like the store brand variation of Looney Tunes cartoons.
What an understatement
Also Paramount's early stage of creating Cartoons before too!
@@Connordavidson-fm5leindeed!
Looking back I remember these shorts as trying SO HARD To be like the Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry. They were twice as violent but half as funny.
2:05 Northern Mites (1960)
Well that was some genuine fever dream imagery.
OMG the man finally did it! As a big Famous Studios fan. This is a certified hood classic to me (I tried doing one but it sucked so badly)
