- In this video, I review the performance of my 'buy' videos from the CIC UA-cam channel and provide a quick channel update after crossing 3,000 subs. Thanks for the support! Now that I'm back from vacation, content production will be picking up.
This is amazing ! They should oblige this to all the financial Channels to post at least every 6-12 months ! Great video
I think it helps to review the ideas from time to time. Even if they don't do well, there could be important lessons to learn.
Good to see you back. Nice progress on the National Parks, that is an amazing project!
Thanks. The National Parks project, which started pretty casually, has been incredible. Especially now, when we only have 5 parks left outside of the 8 Alaska parks (and my wife and I have been to 2 of those 5, but the kids haven't). When I look back at all the amazing trips we've done and what it took to do them, it is hard to believe.
@@thecyclicalinvestorsclub6657 Absolutely! The experiences you have made together as a family must have been fantastic! Thinking about starting a similar tradition with my family (became a father just recently).
Congratulations! Looking back, it has been a great project to undertake.
Thanks for the video! I agree, finding value in the S&P500 is currently very hard but luckily it is just representing probably 0.01% of all companies one could invest in
Great point!
Thanks for the video! Was getting worried that you were shifting away from UA-cam
Nope. I plan on sticking around.
Thanks for the video! Any thoughts on intel? 😮
Intel has been a sell for me for about 2 years now. In short, I think AMD has been taking the less cyclical part of their business.
Intel video is out now.
@@thecyclicalinvestorsclub6657 yes, I have seen it, thanks for the quick update! I guess was the first who liked it 😌🤝 would press like once more if I could
You said you might buy more on CMCSA if it gets cheaper if I remember correctly! You really think they are done for this cycle?
I think CMCSA is a tough call. The business is well run and it did turn out to be a better investment than Disney. Comcast could certainly do okay going forward. The challenge is that the longer-term trend of cord-cutting is going to be a constant headwind for them, so I think actual growth is going to be difficult for them over the medium-term. And that's what we saw during the past 4 years I owned the stock. I think long-term the business will be able to transition, but I don't know how much actual profits for shareholders there will be, and I want businesses that have more medium and long term growth potential right now.
