Gong Yoo just said that "Fishing is good for actors because you can soothe that empty feeling after a film or a drama." --- I am not an actor so I wonder why he or they feel that way? Does anyone have any idea??
I've worked on film sets and in theatre and you can work very long hours, for months at a time with no breaks. You are also often working with similarly creative, inspired and hard-working people...so it's common to end up becoming very close with that group of people, almost like a family. Everyone is often also very passionate about and invested in the project and it's creation. It can be an emotional experience, so when the filming ends and you won't be working on it or seeing that group everyday anymore, that can make you feel sad and "empty" like GY said.
I am not actor but I understand him when working so long without any breaking or no work life balance. I have mental pb, panic attack.Just now I realise that I must leave everything and go hiking alone this can help me a lot.
I second that@@cest_what. My colleagues and I organize a conference every year, which is attended by over 3,000 people. It takes a lot of hard work from our team of 33 people to pull off the event successfully. After a week of working tirelessly, I feel completely exhausted. While I'm relieved that it's finally over, I also feel sad that I won't be seeing my colleagues for a whole year. Even after 13 years of doing this, I haven't gotten used to this feeling. To cope with the exhaustion and to come out of the hole, I travel to new places and visit my family who live on different continents. This helps me to relax both my body and mind, and prepare me for the next conference.
May I find the deep Red Sea in your eyes. Waves, clashing and chasing on the docks of my rigid mind... May your words inspire me like the lover's first kiss, and infuse me with male audacity. And jeez, with the zeal of a fisherman's first fight with an ocean beast... May the lines, such you bleed under your pen, engrave a tattoo on my sweaty palm... So, my quill falls down, and the spilled ink gives me qualms... While the veins thick and clustered with doubts, run free with the youth, I find in your rhymes... May you reminisce the first of your verse, this one that I'll snatch with a cheeky smile… I will inhale the strength of it, exhale and dive back into my life alive...❤
It's so sweet and cute how excited Gong Yoo gets about fishing! 😂 💙
I really wish he had some social media in order to give him my support!
He has instagram.
@@flower5396 Actually, no he doesn't. He's said he doesn''t do social media at all.
@@vesper180 so who owns his instagram page ?
@@kym888 Seeing as your comment was only a month ago…. he now has an Instagram. He didn’t have one a year ago, or 7 months ago.

Finishing big projects that you care about can cause empty feelings and burnout. Like a sort of “what do I do now..?” Type feeling.
