Interested to see your footage, esp the mention of the road to Lighthouse Point. I'd love to see those stunning Cat Island beaches but find it hard to leave the familiar comfort and convenience of the Abacos. Thanks for the video!
The resort footage is great. That is a pretty tame road for the Family Islands, though. If you've been to Lighthouse Point, this is nothing! Skip the rough road scenes in the future and focus on the cool stuff. )
As a tourist, we try to be sympathetic to the local environment and also give back where possible. On this trip we packed 6 musical instruments in our cases and donated them to the Cat Island Community Band.
Looks amazing. Liking the bit of Mozart Requiem too😀
Never the same without Dad's Army though 🙂
Hey you guys - another informative video. Interesting to see the variance in investment between Cat Island and Exuma.
If you head back over, I would absolutely suggest a visit to Cat Island John.

Treasure Cay is still one of our favourite spots in The Bahamas 🙂

Glad you enjoyed some of the video 🙂
We almost lost the rental jeep in a pothole on the way to Lighthouse Point! Lol😂
@@rocksgirl2001 yes - it is definitely a bumpy road, but well worth the anxiety getting there. It is all closed off now though.
@@sarandipitytravelso sad to hear that. Rumor was I believe that Disney Cruise Line wanted to purchase it. Is that what happened?
Yes it is now a Disney resort
Do not allow the tourist and others to come and destroy the Island. Strict rules need to be out in place.
