Evidence for Neurodegeneration in patients with abuse history

It's becoming evident that patients with early trauma may develop neurodegeneration. In this segment Dr. Drossman shows a study where Veterans with PTSD who experienced war trauma had a reduction in density of the Hippocampus. He also shows the Neurodegeneration occuring with other chronic GI conditions.
