Brilliant . Just trying to learn this on my mandolin . The A part is ok , but the B part is really confusing. Your singing along really helped me . Thank you
SO glad that you are working away at this tune. Yeah, there's a lot of motion in that B part. Learning to sing it forces you to really figure out what's happening... and maybe it allows you to do that in a relaxed way? Have fun learning it!
Great lesson, thank you Shannon, your playing is brilliant! Any chance of the reel Tim Maloney? John Sheehan of the Dubliners does a great version on the Eb tin whistle.
Great tutorial. What a grand idea it is to sing each phrase. It's a terrific way to get a tune inside your head. Really enjoying these.
So glad you are enjoying AND finding the aural/oral learning useful, Jim!
I’m part Irish ☘️ we are really small medium size people. Keep playing that flute and guitar 🎸
5’4” is my size, we are all beautiful
Thank you Shannon 😊❤️☘️
Amazing, love this!
thanks for tuning in, Lotta!
Ha ! That’s one of those you hear regularly but are never sure what it’s called. Great great session tune .
It's been SO enjoyable to dig into some of these old chestnuts for the channel. There's a reason they are so often played!

Hi, John - I'll add Timmy Moloney to the list. Thanks!
@@ShannonHeatonMusic That's awesome Shannon, thank you so much! Plus it doesn't have to be in Eb, D would be fine.
Lovely playing....where'd ye get the flute . Lovely tone....great way you teach the phrasing....
So glad you are enjoying the videos, Edmund. Patrick Olwell made my flute. It plays so easily and consistently!
