This is the content I needed when I first moved to Japan! LOL had to resort to using Google Translate and make a drawing of the buttons with English labels.

So true! I remember doing something similar. I couldn’t afford a cell phone or computer at the time 😅 so I had test map, and ask coworkers.

Damn I remember watching the genki textbook review a couple of months ago when I was just starting my Japanese language journey. Now I am planning a 6 month study stay in Japan. If i didn’t stumble across your video back then I probably wouldn’t have bought the textbook and ended up giving up on learning Japanese.
Long story short is that you have no idea how that one video changed my life… I appreciate you brother.
    God bless

Freakin’ love this! First, thank you, too! I appreciate you watching (more than you know). If I’ve been able to help just one person, it makes me feel like I’ve done something right. I think you’ll really enjoy your 6-month stay. I hope you’ll have more life-changing when you visit. Respect, Gustavo 🤜 🤛

Fantastic video! Very useful for dorks like meee! Do you have a Japanese Drivers license? Point cards for supermarkets, Convenience store coffee machines, Weird Mirowaves, Postal things, TV remotes, etc. Going to a Japanese movie theater and things that gaijin would likely not know aboot. Understanding Japanese ambiguity, Japan`s lack of understanding sarcasm, and understanding freak`n Keigo language. Understanding Japanese Banks or understanding how to ride the subway without a Pasmo or Suica card... So many... No need to hurry. You do a fantastic job in explaining

Oooooh! I LOVE your suggestions! Thank you so much for those!!!! I’ll have to make something and shout you out.
I’m REALLY happy you enjoyed the vid (I’m a fellow dork 🤜 🤛).

Thanks, man! I wouldn’t say I watch a ton, but I watch my fair share when I can. There are some classic anime stories! The good ones can be really compelling. What’s your go-to series at the moment?

@@TheJapanGuy Yeah I guess ur right, maybe I just Watch too much I think, I Still keep up with even One Piece & Boruto every Week, but Seriously I should relax with the Anime for a little while so I can get better studying Japanese I think.

This was super helpful. I subbed. My aircon is randomly not in the center of my room so my partner gets all the air and I get none. The fins or wings seem to only move up and down, do you know how to move air side to side? Or anything I can buy?

If see some item or software piece, that i don't know how to work with, usually i just push random buttons and see what happens. Luckily, I didn't work on nuclear reactor)

Good question, Chuck! I know the state of emergency ended, but I’m not sure about language schools. I’ll have to check.

      Thank you 🙏!!!! GREAT QUESTION!!!
Yes, I am. I had an interesting experience while learning coding fundamentals. Made me frame UA-cam “failure” a bit differently.
So, nothing crazy. I’m just trying some ideas that have been in my head, and we’ll see how they do 😀
