Rebecca's mandolin part is the best I've ever heard of this song! I can't believe there are negative comments here! The Lovells are so good!

Lord, it's been so long since I've looked at these old vids I've forgotten what the film quality was back then. I loved these guys. These are the best songs they ever did in my opinion. So down to earth. course they are a duo now. Music like this wouldn't pay the bills these days.

Love the relaxed feel! There's lots of heart and soul in the vocals. Great Job from a jazz bass player.

...Yes for the mandolin!! I love hearing the mandolin played softly, and sweetly. Kind of reminds me of Chris Thile or Mike Marshall's more mellow music, as opposed to the more twangy traditional mandolin. I love it! I hope to one day be as talented as you.

Rhonda Vincent does a good job on this song. Glad to see old time acoustic and bluegrass music making a comeback in America and abroad. Very disappointed to read this group broke up with two of the sisters performing as' Larkin Poe'. Let's hope all three get back together because they have such a good bluegrass sound.

Rebecca plays the mandolin part well on this song. Actually, on Rhonda's recorded version of this song, Adam Steffey plays the mandolin, I believe. Rhonda plays it live, however, and does it well.
These ladies are young and their vocals will strengthen over time. They are already getting really good. It is so great to see more women into acoustic Americana music. They also have a great guitar player and bass fiddle player and they all gel really well as a group.

She sings a bit soul-ish or like a black girl. I would say this is contemporary bluegrass- I do like them though. Pure Fe does this with her blues music and it may just be the influence of NC and other areas down S/SE.
