This is not your everyday concert. The Zila Kafi Thumri - Gopala Mori Karuna Kyu Nahi Aave is not recorded many times. This is the 3rd version on UA-cam, and maybe the last.
Every year Pt. Firoz Dastur had a special farmaish by rasiks to end his Sawai Gandharva performance with Gopala Bhajan but Pt. Bhimsen Joshi rarely sang this instrumental raga. Moreover the recording length of this thumri is more than 30 minutes. Today who sings thumri for 30-40 minutes?
