There definitely seemed to be other spots where you could jump off the track to skip a lot. Climbing up the side walls to use as a ramp to get some altitude. In fact, it looks like Moonbo almost did one by accident and had a straight shot to the finish at 4:45 or so, but he reset.
For the idea of a message that's readable from a specific angle, all you really need is a fixed viewport to keep referencing as you place the pieces. Zeepkist needs a "camera" piece that acts as the thumbnail viewport for custom tracks, and then a button to view from its position while building.
That drafting rule for the letter strokes would kill me. I'm left handed and I write all my letters in the reverse direction of the strokes. My friend would get so annoyed at me for this same thing while trying to teach me mandarin as well, but my brain just wants to do every stroke backwards.
For the idea of the message that's readable from a specific angle. Design your track around the podium, make it so when you are on the podium you can view the message from that angle so if no one got it during the lobby they might catch it at the end.
Drawing letters in my highschool drafting class was fun, but cramped the hand after a while. Collage engineering was basically all digital, so I haven't had to do that in a while.
How about Checkpoint Flip for the next themed course? You build a course to drive on, but everytime you hit a checkpoint, the driving direction flips. (Ex. Start to Checkpoint 1 = Driving Forward, Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2 = Driving Backward, Checkpoint 2 to Finish = Driving Forward)
I actually love cursive. I write in it instead of print most of the time because I like the flow of it. It feels more like drawing than writing. I do admit there's not really a practical reason to learn it now but for me it's always been more satisfying that writing in print.
I’m weird. I learned how to write in cursive first. I didn’t know there was another way to write until I was in high school. To this day, and I’m always writing things down, notes and maths for games I play, and I write in cursive. Soooo yeah
the easiest way to make something like that is just to start with the end product and cut it up, there's surprisingly little limitations on anything but that one angle/orientation/configuration/etc so you can pretty much do anything you want as long as you don't change that parameter. the reason it looks so impossible is because of how our minds work: it's presented as all the extranious nonsense first and transitions to the start point and most of us will imagine that they came up with all that nonsense to end up at that point when instead it's "how much cool nonsense can I get up to without breaking these parameters?"
Zeepkist is a lot like Multiplayer Monday in any challenge where they design something, rather than the current Hide and Seek. Moonbo may not win the challenge too often, but he almost always is going to have the best design.
This was a great video. Between Moonbo being such a fantastic builder and just entertaining, kAN being good fun as well and Yannic being one of the coolest devs around, it is such good times.
It is really the writing equivalent to painting. It can be nice for artistic purposes but there is a reason we don't let engineers document their work that way and use digital photography instead for purposes where accurate transmission of information matters.
@@ducewags Ha, good one! Edit: Turns out Duce was not being funny, and "wrighting" was not a part of a joke. What a shame. Therefore, not actually a good one. Still reinforces the point that schools have failed to teach (him) basic spelling, just not in a funny way :(

I've seen a couple of those 3rd perspectives that use a background or foreground outline and specific spot to view from. then fit peices to that outline
If I had any talent at all, would love to grind the weekly Zeepkist tracks for "pro runs". Maybe something Sandals or Maki or Warcans could post. Would be neat to see both the big UA-camr chill runs and also the pro runs on these tracks. Loved the "no right way" shortcut finding on this one.
I use cursive allot as a dyslectic it makes it allot easier for me to seperate words for reading. my brain seperates these better as pictures than to think about every seperate letter trying to make sense of that.
whenever i write with a pen i use cursive. It like the go to writing style here. Tho my handwriting is really bad. So when readability is very important i use all uppercase printed letters, like writing my name on some official document where it is very important that htey inderstand what i wrote.
8:48 "38, I wanna see that" ... Feel free to ask, I usually record my POV and I'm always willing to send you footage from your maps :)
I want to see it
Same
plz upload it
At 4:47 it looked like he might've gotten really close to the finish if he didn't restart, I wonder if that skip is viable?
Maybe upload that short to your channel pretty please? 😍
If it says "buy zeep", and zeep means soap, is the real hidden message that we smell?
like real gamers should do.
dont we all?
🤣
9:18 i think he is preatty clear about that
All people smell. Because biology and chemistry.
At 4:47 you shouldn't have reset I'm curious how close you would have gotten, it looked like it might make it maybe!
4:45 I wonder if he saw this when reviewing it.
insane shortcut
I thought the same thing. Why did he reset? He might have made it.

He is alive!

Thanks for your service Moonbo didn't realize you served.

i would like to see a "no boosters" theme for a track :D
This is a good idea.

I missed you! Great video. How about classic movies for a theme? Like King Kong`s building or Millennium Falcon ship.. idk Love to see more videos.

4:55 I don't even use cursive in my signature, I just write my name with printed letters.
4:47 Dude, you were shooting straight toward the finish and you reset!
Hearing the guys talking about learning lettering in drafting… can relate..

As a fountain pen enthusiast I use cursive a lot
We must keep that art alive, as schools have failed to teach it, or basic wrighting and spelling for the most part.

As a regular pen enthusiast I dont
I took drafting in high school. Actually really enjoyed learning how to make clean lines by hand.
Track Ideas; Favorite Food, Outer Space, Rube Goldberg, Rollercoaster, or Sky Dive Ring Toss

they should convince ScrapMan to come back to play this game with them

No Sandals, yet, but Just Maki put up his video for this week's tracks, including this one, and his insane run on Dapper's pothole track
4:45 looked like you could have made it to the Finnish with an awesome time
My theme suggestion “Sky Islands” would be fun to see what everyone does with that.

Really enjoying the levels you are making!
Love it have a nice day
I liked all the tracks this theme but you did it the best!
Dang, this moonbo track alone is gonna make me want to buy zeepkist.....

They don't reach cursive or the math we used anymore
Man have you tried starry moonbo? its replaced seriea mist and man is it better, you gotta get the zero sugar one though, honesty competes with sprite
I use cursive a lot. I write so much faster with cursive. You guys should do a “curvy” theme.
My friend only writes in cursive. His print is almost illegible!
Theme suggestion: no wheels
Nice track.
Everything is the justmaki show though.
I'm off to buy soap for some reason
Ya'll should do a 'cave' theme
Love you moonbo !
Koop zeep, was jezelf.
Theme: beyblade
Lord of the Rings theme :3
Would love to see you join kAN and co on Motortown
Can you pls do Minecraft theme?
bro 4:40 you might have made it
why is the discord server link not working??
my idea is a cats
Buy soap 🤣
Zeep = soap :/
am i the only one who only use cursive
Grandma’s cursive. That comment annoys me. I was taught it and I’m only 40.
