The Wiggle Cushion is a low profile seat cushion that is great for children and adults who have difficulty sitting still. Using this sensory tool allows individuals to get the sensory input they need to allow them to better listen, focus, and pay attention. The inflatable Wiggle Cushion is smooth on one side and has slightly raised bumps on the other. Pick which side to use based on how much sensory integration is needed at any given moment. Use the Wiggle Cushion on the floor or a chair as it provides the same input as a traditional therapy ball, but in a much more compact way. Stand on the Wiggle Cushion to use as a balance disc and strengthen core muscles. It is lightweight, portable and easily transported from home to school. My grandson is in first grade. He has trouble sitting still in a chair and on the floor. He is being assessed for ADHD. His learning abilities seem to be at the level of a 4 to 5 year old. He Is a very busy little boy easily distracted and has a short attention spam. The funny thing is he can go for long drives and sit in his car seat without the need to roll around or stand up ( of course his parents have driving breaks so he can get out and run around about every hour or so). So I think the movement of the car is soothing for him. I think your cushions would be a great help for him at home and in the first grade classroom but what cushion would you suggest. I hope you can hope us.
