Take the course over at Scrimba (linked in the description) so that you can participate in the interactive design challenges. Then, let me know how it all went here in the comments! I want to know.
I'm really interested in the full Bootcamp and signed up. I'm wondering; are you going to go over advanced UI animations (like using Lottie or just JS animation libraries) in the full future course?
I listened to this in the background while I worked as I was familiar with a lot of the concepts but it is always good to expand knowledge and see how someone else thinks. I can say unlike a lot of these things where they just give you basic stuff while trying to sell you something, this gentleman explains in detail and knows what he is talking about. Subscribed for future updates and thank you for the video and helping to build our next generation of designers.

I think I found a missed edit... Ironically in 20:20... This is the first one I've found so I feel like I've stumbled into a gold mine, so that just shows how well prepared and edited this channel is overall :)
i dont know how i got to this channel because i wasnt looking for this BUT i just love it! i took a course for web design and i kind of like it but wanted to know about UI and you sr are the guy i was looking for but i didnt till now. thank you for this! if of course you have a new sub! keep it up :D
Thank You, Sir, You Changed my way of thinking towards UI design. Week Ago, My Friend recommended this channel But I Neglected When I saw your one episode I am your Fan. You are Great! Love From Nepal!
I'm stuck at home located in Eastern China due to 2019-nCoV outbreak. I can't play outside or pack my luggage to another city near Shanghai to work. Things go boring. Maybe it's time to learn something from Gary now. Thanks for your tutorials.
Gary, this is great! One little recommendation, if I may: Start with visual hierarchy. I feel like if you get that than all of the other fundis make way more sense. And you want to know why I make the suggestion... because you reference visual hierarchy before you explain it. :-)
This is a very very helpful UI Fundamental class for us. Basically most important for beginners. I love your class boss.. so useful video.. Thanks for guide us free..
Gary, i do love that you are covering CSS in this video. My question now is, since I am currently studying CSS CSS5, would someone like me who has a bit of incomplete art background lean the UI way or the front-end developer route? i’m 38 and looking to work from home in at 3-5 years, sooner, if i can land it. I’m an odd blend of analytical and imaginative- creative, also currently in art appreciation and art history... really trying to understand art, entirely. everything seems to be lining up, however after seeing your vid of 2019 Design Fundamentals just yesterday, i can see the vision! i am a DIY-er in my education, ben in customer service job 21 years, creative crafty hobbyist, homeschool teacher- no formal education past HS; But yes, please any advice? please and thank you. blessings to you!!
Well that was awesome! I'll probably get the course anyway (bank balance permitting :( ), but will you cover overall page layouts? I'm reasonably confident at designing individual components, but I often struggle with making them work in the context of an entire page - I'm thinking like a dashboard page, or profile page where lots of information has to be crammed in.
You're one of my favorite tutors on UA-cam. Thanks for the great content you've made. Have you ever collaborated or considered collaborating with Steve Schoger? (his channel is Refactoring UI)
Hi. I very interested in learning. How long time das it takes to learn everything and how do I do that. I live in Sweden and I don't think that enyvone will give me a job without a diploma ore many years of experience and that means that I must work like freelance. Do I need to learn also UX to work? I'm 50 years old and is maybe too late to go to school. Best regards.
Any Good Course to get started in UI Design ? I was looking for some courses the other day & found it is like ocean of courses now on internet. Hard to select quality ones. It is like every damn edtech out there coming up with courses in UI with good reviews(which I doubt if genuine reviews). It is ton of confusion.

you mean dev ed? :)

I dont how how to thank you, for actually creating a real learning video, this way of improving bad design is the best video i have seen.
i actually work as a frontend developer (past graphic design) because of this video. glad i watched this a year ago
"Today is a really big day, cuz quite frankly, I've never done this before." This intro is exactly what he said to his date after Prom.
Wrong.. That's exactly what I said when I brought my wife home for the first time. At age 40. Feelsbadman.bmp

The phone design is really cool too. I'm gonna try to make a clone of it. You need to upgrade React on it btw!

This course is much better. Using real examples helped me to understand some design fondamentals.
scrimba platform is so magical

How did it go?
I’m so happy you did another one!!!! I always rewatch the first UI vid you made. Good timing 💜✨
Thanks! Really enjoyed while learning

Great course and nice Kemper sitting by your desk, not jealous at allllgghhh
First time hearing of Scrimba. I tried it out earlier and was surprised how well it really works.

I guess you are the only man who I want to become cause love both every design thing and front end development 👏🔥
Great course and really an exciting thing with Scrimba. I would love to see more interactive courses like this! thumbs up 👍
Dividing screen into two(one for coding, another for result) would help much more to notice difference before and after. But tutorial is so cool
waiting for your scrimba bootcamp! just awesome platform and yhis course was amazing! already learned a lot in just like 2 days
Sorry to be late watching your video but honestly I always like your this type of video specially crash courses.

Thnx for the video as always but i would REALLY really like a video on how to justify and align content on your actual website.

I don't know if I pay attention to the course or to the guitars and the Kemper, specially :)
I have been wating for someone to do this thanks alot

Hey Gary. What will be an ballpark pricing of your course? . Please make it affordable to students from third world countries like me.
Thanks for your time and effort

Thank you for this fundamental UI course .👍
I'd like more intermediate and advanced courses. UA-cam seems full of Crash Courses and beginner no depth tutorials.
The full ui course will have it all.

Doesn’t removing the space between the date and awesome title contradict the challenge before. In those examples I put lines space between everything?
I wish it wasn't so hard to see. I only have a tablet and even on that I'm straining to see the print and I really want to do this. 😔
Awesome. But what about crash UX? :)
Wow this is amazing!
What is the difference between this bootcamp and what you will teach in designcoure.com ?
