Assumed this would be the mermaid simply toying with her "pet" human but she came across more as a "good" mermaid who's grown unhinged than a deliberately malicious entity. Voice-wise, I think you did a great job distinguishing the perky, happy mermaid from her manic other self conveying the cracks in her psyche starting to show.
Well...better than drowning or getting shanked. Might at least get, ahem, never mind! Very fun, really creates that sense of desperation for the listener's situation.
..I have already drowned before she could even say anything ;D but yeah transporting me would of probs been how I died or the fact that much like a fish I died and was just floating at the top of the water level in my tank(in this case.. the *ocean* 😅)

She obviously isn't a siren. Sirens are actually a type of harpy. You can have a yandere mermaid. It's rare but it does happen. I prefer tsundere and kuudere mermaids myself.
