I'm from Iran and while yes Biryani was invented here and the kabab cooking techniques were as well, however when it came to India/Pakistan it became the great dish it is today because it took sophisticated Persian cooking techniques with the amazing abundance of spices and combined the two , fusion cuisine for its time.
