This is one of my favorite D. Wilkerson messages, alongside “The Redeemer is Coming to Zion”. Makes me think of Tim Dilena’s message, “The Story that Started a Prayer Meeting and Shook a House” (January 22, 2023) where he speaks about the “I can’t help it [can’t help but praise God]” condition.

You don’t have to be a pastor to experience this. Following the Lord can cause such pain and emotional trauma. Gee! The very words he is sharing about Jeremiah are some of the very words I have shared with the Lord while obeying his calling. I lost EVERYTHING. But remained. However, then the physical attacks started and now I am on a leave from work due to the countless injuries I endured during this five year season of fulfilling his calling. The Lord is a relational Heavenly Father. He hears our cries. Hey, the Lord even let Jeremiah’s words be recorded and passed on from generation to generation. And his despair serves as a testimony of God remaining faithful with his people despite the fiery darts.
Amen! Thanks for sharing your testimony. Jesus told us following him would come at a cost. May we endure, by his grace, to the end. God bless you!
