They’re still being enjoyed now. Crazy how I remember some of these commercials, as if they were still an everyday thing, and I haven’t watched anything with commercials on cable, in most of a decade.
I think it's a case of the real story being more interesting than the movie. If I am correct, Disney produced the movie, so that should possibly have been taken into account. The real problem is the movie is filled with cliches so critically that's a problem.
They review the films 1) "Malice" with Alec Baldwin and Nicole Kidman. 2) "Cool Runnings" with John Candy and Doug E. Doug 3) "Short Cuts" with Julianne Moore and Directed by Robert Altman 4)M. Butterfly with Jeremy Irons and 5) For Love or Money with Michael J. Fox Surprisingly to me they did not like Cool Runnings, which I swear I could remember getting largely positive reviews at the time.
Cool runnings is for a small child.. so of course it's predictable .it's not predictable to a kid though ! and at the very end when they cross the finish line ......I felt proud !!!!🛷few movies have actually make me feel proud like that. Yes they should have got rid of the bad guy German bobsled team , they were kind of overdone cliche
Actually, the presence of serial rapist/killer in "Malice" does serve a narrative purpose; in the course of the resulting police investigation, a point of fact is uncovered that sends the plot off in a different direction. Plus -- my God, look at the film-noir cinematography at 1:49, the shot of Bill Pullman. That is gorgeous (courtesy of master cinematographer Gordon Willis). Sorry, I think S & E were off on this one.
I thought micheal j.fox was suited for this type of material, light but slightly more serious and realistic then his early roles.his best work was on family ties television show.
The local commercials are great! Hilariously cheezy!!
Were continuing to go through tapes and if we find any we will post them, thanks for watching!
Please do!!!

While it was certainly not an Academy Award nominee, I have never met a person who disliked Cool Runnings. Thumbs up for sure.

Thanx for the local television. I enjoyed the local commercials!
I gave this video a thumbs up
Thanks for uploading this!
This is a rather pristine print of this review, especially from 1993. Nice find!
I bought a Jamaican bobsled team knit hat at the airport when I visited Jamaica, so someone was cashing in!
Michael Hebert Furniture commercial looks like an outtake from “Used Cars.”
Short cuts 👍🌟🌟🌟
Short Cuts is a great movie. One of Altman's best.
The very first date I ever went on as a kid we went to the movie theater and saw cool runnings. They’re right about it being cliche and formulaish.
At 18:48 in the clip for the Michael J. Fox movie you can see the boom mic drop in for a second.
Most likely because the clips sent to edit in were unmatted 4:3 full frame that would be later letterboxed.
Will there be more Siskel and Ebert episodes?

YAWN YAWN. What they liked or didn't means nothing
These guys were the only ones that liked Speed 2 and Popeye from 1980
Spoiler alert
*in a hushed tone* Michael Hebert really does save you mooooney !
How does a person not like Cool Runnings?
9:16... nfl qb wade wilson looks like just a regular fit guy in 2019.

Alec moved in with them because he wanted Nicole kidman . Easy
They were plotting together beforehand.

When Nicole Kidman and Bill Pullman meet in the bar, it comes full circle. I love that scene.

Altman is a difficult director but unique. The nudity in this R ratted film was daring for it's time.
hi
Is this what on yesterday?
Michael j fox was not getting the best movies around this time. Certainly not like the back to the future's or casualties of war
Lol surgeon needs a place to stay
Just watch it.
