I know right? .. Forrest is awesome. He makes awesome videos, has great fun. His videos of he and his wife competing with each other are a ton of fun. When Michael (Mr. 220) joins him they always provide a ton of fun and make great videos together. Forrest should have at least 100k subs by now! .. he's just a nice guy!

My teammie knows Kcirde's pain. Had a 150, 265, 127 set. I've struggled in third games too, but have occasionally had sets go the other way.

bowling 300 in a 4+ man league is a feat on its own
Imagine my struggle to bowl 260+ in a 5 man league. Bowled 268 this past week for my highest game of the season lol.
Man says "punching for a meesly 280" damn. Team is stacked. Lol
I bowled in a league where our team was “ forced” up into the A league. We were very competitive in the B league and by no means dominated it. The guy who ran the league also owned the bowling center and bowled on one of the teams. His team had 3 of the 4 top average guys in the league, No one one his team carried a handicap and had guys regularly firing 700 scratch series on a given night. Needless to say, they pretty much wrapped up 1st place 2/3rds of the way through the season. There were so many complaints to the ABC over that he lost his license to run any leagues for the next year and many of the teams that had been bowling in his A league refused to come back.

Nine pin is the worst I think. Eight is a carry down deflection issue but when you "NUT" the ball for what seems a prefect strike and leave the nine that smarts lol!

My friend bowled a 300 in our 9 pin no-tap league a couple of weeks ago. That was pretty awesome for us! .. I was able to pull a 637, three 200 games in a row, pretty sweet for me! . I am still working to get a 300 game, any way that I can, no-tap or not. I may have to do it from a walker by the time I get there, but I'll keep trying! .. BTW, I am trying to incorporate some of your style Forrest (I hope you don't mind me stealing), and it is paying off. I am getting better, more consistent, and I am now beginning to learn how to use my axis rotation a little bit to control my ball a little better when the lanes change. I have a tendency to over-hook the ball a lot so I am trying to learn how to come up the back a little bit more as the lanes begin to hook too much. Anyway, thank you again for the awesome content! .. never gets old to watch you bowl !!

@@ForrestKritzer - Thanks Forrest! .. I am doing pretty well for only bowling about 8 months now. I am really good at collecting bowling balls (Have 6 already), just not quite as good at throwing them .. haha .. but working on it. Watching you and your wife and Mr. 220 bowl sure helps me a lot. You need to do some more instruction and tips type videos too 😁

agree with you a stone 8 hurts but for me I think a failed messenger hurts more, pin zooms towards the standing pin and completely fly's past it lol

Hey Forrest, we were talking about you at league last night (everyone loves your channel !!) .. And get this, I whooped their butts last night! .. bowled 209, 232, 237 .. with handicap (36) that gave me 242, 268, 273 !!! .. hot damn man! .. I was on FIRE! .. I attribute some of that to you and your channel .. learning lots from you. Won all 3 games last night and continued afterward beating "the guys" .. hahaha! .. was awesome .. and they are all better bowlers than I am, all scratch bowlers. Ha! .. not last night! .. hehe.. I would say a stone 9 for a right-hander because the ball is supposed to hit that pin on the way through the pocket.
Who's the guy in the on the other team yellow shirt with the Vise grips? He looks like a very good bowler. Forest your ball is 10x better than 220s. His release is like he's holding a briefcase. And not under it far enough. His balls won't rip tacks like yours and if he does, it because his ball speed is way to low. He needs to lower their back swing😅 stay under the ball longer and get it through the heads on the lane. You are great at that.
Im not just a league bowler I put in dues. I averaged 239 on wood lanes back in 2001. Aslo state scratch all events champ at 18. So I'm not just blowing smoke.. 220s game could be so much better. But he's probably at the age now where he thinks he knows it all. Nobody does no but gotta be willing to try change.

Love your You Tube channel keep up the excellent work, but I have a question for ya. Why isn't your wife bowling anymore? Haven't seen her in any of your last several videos, she's a good bowler and should be on a team in some league, heck she's good enough to be bowling on any of your teams. Blower 7-9 means it was super weak entering the pocket. Weak hand or wrong ball. I agree that it’s tough to see but there’s a reason it happens. I had one not too long ago and just walked away because I knew what I did.
If I was left handed, I would totally agree, but being right handed, your description would be correct for an 8-10…..

Yea, a pocket 8 is terrible but how about a pocket 7 pin? I did it twice in league last week along with a pocket 7-10. I bowl right handed.

No I do not use a lighter spare ball and I have not heard of anyone doing that
