I wanna become a pshycology professor but I also think about having a job in govt hospital or mental health care centers....so do i need to do both mphil and phd for that?
as they are very different then yes. though P.hd is a higher degree, that should be enough and when u do a Ph.D from a RCI registered colg u can apply for RCI licence too. SO Ph.D is required majorly.

In psychology, you will have to study neurophysiology as complementary subjects..if u have true love for psychology, you can do this

Yes, U can. But soon u will have to enroll for Ph.D as that is a mandatory qualificaltion
@Ifra...u only become eligible for assistant professor ....if u crack Net ..then after u have to qualify any PSC exam...or it may b direct interview ..depends upon the criteria set by university ..after qualifiying Psc or interview ..then u can become assistant prof.

nope. as per the laws Ph.D is mandatory
ma'am i'm giving an interview for SSLA tomorrow, if i get selected then im planning on majoring in psychology and with a minor in biology- i will graduate with a Bsc liberal arts. is it possible to get into neuropsychology after having an undergrad degree in liberal arts but with a major in psychology?
So u need to have ur major in the same subject as far as i know. U might have to have Masters' in Psychology.

I have made a checklist for myself.Please correct me if i am wrong,Mam.(Note* im a 10th class student now and in my school there's no psychology as an additional subject)
My checklist..(Pls let me know if i have skipped some steps)
1.Take (Bio,chem, physics,eng,hindi) stream
2.Bsc in psychology
3.Msc in psychology
4.Write net exam (with jrf)
5.Phd
Is it compulsory to take mphil for becoming professor??
And one more question, I don't want to take clinical psychology in phd..is that what's only available.. i want to study about the human mind and teach And not assess patients..so what can i do??
@@gulaborani5184 m. Phil is compulsory only if U want to take clinical psychology... If u want to be a professor than after master's u are can directly go for PhD...
