Hi. Thanks for this video, loved it. During the last years I've been sharing most of your videos links via whatsapp with my dad. Being a work horses lover he always liked them and was always something we enjoyed talking about after, specially during covid long lockdowns. Sadly he past away last October. Watching your videos remind me a lot sharing them with him and make me think he would have enjoyed a lot watching. Thank you for your content! Warm regards Nicolás Salgado
Great horses. I am amazed, though, to see that most of them are worked with blinders. As gentle and docile as they are, they would even be better with open bridles.
@@larrybrown6068 I have been working with draft horses for 59 years, presently I farm with Percherons, I am aware of the reasons given. In my experience, when a horse is driven with open bridles from early on, it will be more dependable even in difficult situations.
@@debyzimmerman6617 They will focus alright without blinders, if trained without them from early on. Blinders are just a shortcut instead of proper training at the right time. In Bavaria I drove all my horses without them, even when logging and in parades, here in the USA so far I have had only two horses that could do without.

The absolute most gorgeous horses. Thank you so much for the footage you post. They are a joy to behold.
Agree!!! Are they all Belgians?
@@joniatoms9798 One of them looked like it was a little skinny to be one, and I'm no expert, but... I think they are all Belgians.
@@RamonaQ agree!
Nice video and nice horses

I'm no a fan of blinds either but I've been told it helps some horses focus on the work better....
They stop the horse from seeing what is 'chasing' them.
