Tara, how wonderful for you and your family. I pray you find excellent medical care at the Mayo Clinic. I grew up in Phoenix and there is no humidity. Gets very hot though. I wish you the very best and will anxiously wait for your first update from Phoenix.

Lois poe thank you! We are excited and overwhelmed and everything in between. Yes, the heat seems rough. I’ve been concerned about it but my idea is, if it gets too hot I’ll take my son shopping at target if he’s not in the pool with my friend and her kids. 😀 how cool you grew up there and soon I’ll be able to bring you scenery from your hometown 😀🌵

I am glad you got a referral to Mayo. Try not to stress too much about the move. The world is a much smaller place than it used to be!

Hi, I had to actually think about this for a while. I have a friend with a chronic illness and she was lamenting about the difficulties of dating. I understand dating and relationships have their own trials at any basic level but then with an illness on top of it all, it can definitely put on the pressure. I know it has been hard on me because we can't do things we once did. we are both going to many doctor appointments that neither of us would be interested in otherwise. we've had a lot of ups and downs and ultimately it is another factor of our relationship. This is such a personal subject. I have seen relationships flourish, I've seen awful behavior and people lose themselves in relationships with any illness. So I guess ultimately it is about how you and your partner handle things, how you cope and communicate and what your comfort level is.
I wish you all the best in your relationship 😀
