Just found you 3 days ago. Been doing your beginner series, 15 minutes per day. Easiest way to learn I have seen so far and I’ve been trying off and on for decades.
Hey there. Almost all of my videos I am playing my favorite guitar. Martin D1-R. Owned it since late 90’s. They don’t make them anymore but you can find the used. Great guitars. :)
Hi Kevin! I was told by a friend to tune my Martin down a half step, put a capo on first fret, and then play. It really does sound great and barre chords are easier to learn. I don’t always want to play just this way but I can get to the barre chords easier and faster. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!! Ryan
If it sounds good it is good :). It will make it easier to play starting out. I would say to move on without the capo when you can so that when you start learning songs that you can do that without always having to adjust for the capo
Check out this song lesson with these same chords that are fun and easy to play: ua-cam.com/video/XlNIlZu9O_0/v-deo.html

@@Relaxandlearnguitar sounds good. Yea I rarely use a capo but I discovered this half step down stuff. 😉
@@R.L.Humpert I am a big fan of the capo when it comes to changing the key so I can sing the song lower :)
Just like on the piano
Yes! Thanks for watching!
Is that a schubb capo?
Yep. You can check out my shop page here www.relaxandlearnguitar.com/shop/
Where can I buy the capo your using?
You can find it on my shop page www.relaxandlearnguitar.com/shop/
I'm a little confused. If Am is ii, does that mean A would be II?
The 2 (ii) chord is the Am
@@Relaxandlearnguitar What number would the A chord be?
@@richardmcelheney6430 these is no A major chord in key of G. It’s G Am Bm C D Em F#
@@Relaxandlearnguitar OK I think I get it now! THANKS!

I agree ... you're never to old to learn. Now if I can just get my left-hand pinky finger to believe that.
Lol it takes time, keep practicing!
