Okay man this is actually spooky. I was listening to your details intently and I started thinking heavily of Kali Yuga for whatever reason then you mentioned Kali Yuga. What actually is going on here lol.
Hey man. I just wanted to throw in a little bit of info to see if it helps your research. I'm kind of a history nerd. If Sass is eluding to the SA and SS, the SA were called the brown shirts and were the original armed para military pseudo-police force of the Nazi party. Their leader (Ernst Rohm) fell out of favor with Hitler. You may have heard of the night of long knives. The night of long knives was when Hitler and the SS moved against Rohm, had him and the high ranking members of the SA executed, and disbanded the group altogether. There may be some references to Rohm, brown shirts or long knives that might not have caught your attention in your research. If so, maybe this will help you make a few more connections. Great work though.

Without an assertion or conclusion to take a stand on, the research IS trivial. UE made a point not to draw a conclusion about all of these coincidences. This is more an intellectual curiosity than an investigation.
On a much lighter note. We have birds in Australia called Drongos. A race horse was named drongo after the spangled drongo bird (very handsome bird). Despite gaining places in many races, the race horse never won a race - hence it was an idiot, stupid or slow. Thus the use of the word as a insult - usually taken as a friendly insult in Australia.
You have to remember that when you get all the way around to people who are legit clever enough to be able to sell people nothing for millions with a stupid picture as a receipt, they do tend to be just a TINY bit full of themselves. This is less a pile of coincidences or a deliberate conspiracy and more their attempt at being edgelords through the medium of ARG.
I greatly respect these dickweeds, especially for shitting on that graffitti sprayers "legacy". Graffitti is disgusting and even among sprayers there is the unspoken rule that no tag is eternal.
Considering the.."maturity" of most crypto bros and the overlap with the nft bros, my bet is someone thought they were being "teehee im so edgy and cool"
This third party ad company really didn’t understand graffiti. Not that into the culture myself but I understand these rules at least: -Spraying over someone elses work is a sign of disrespect and picking a fight -If a graff writer has died their work mustn’t be covered even if you have a beef with the writer -The only time you can write over (best to do it around) a dead artists work is to write RIP not notify others or pay respect. It’s rare because being involved you’d know if they were dead anyway -Do not paint on private property like homes, gardens, etc but businesses are fine -Do not paint on historical buildings keep it to public structures like lamp posts, not cobbled roads but roads maintained by local authorities, shipping containers etc -Biting is what plagerism is called in graffiti, that bored ape skull is a stolen design apparently so another no-no It’s like they just Googled everything not to do and then did it for clout or whatever. Guess it worked since we’re talking about it…
Yeah those are more like guidelines, being dead doesn't protect you, as unless you were big, we dont know you are dead, and sometimes there just isn't enough room for everyone.
Anarchist vandals complaining about their vandalistic work getting vandalized. He's forbidden to paint over the graffiti defacing his own business now? Cry me a river
@@Exterminator7 The business owner is completely in the right to do so, but doing so may actually hurt their business by them removing something that makes them stand out from their competition. There is also difference between a punk tagging a wall with some crappy stencil or their name with one line and color, and an actual graffiti artist creating a complex work.
@@Cowboycomando54 At the end of the day, unless the artist own the place, there is no rules, nobody gets to tell what is allowed or not except the owner. I just find funny that graffiti artists, who picture themselves as vandals and anarchists going against the "system", would turn around in protest that there is a system and rules for graffitis to prevent them from getting removed by owners or defaced by other artists. If they want rules protecting their art then they can buy the place where they want it displayed, period. Until then it's free for all. I can get that but it awfully sounds like those shitty influencers/orgs on YT trying to sell their "free exposure/publicity" deals instead of any tangible benefits.
Hi, as a german I would like to clarify that "Jedem das Seine", although it was posted over the Buchenwald entrance, is NOT associated with Neonazis or even original Nazi ideology here. People use the phrase every day in reference to its original, quite liberal latin meaning in antiquity, aka "to each their own". The only people over here associating it with Nazism are the far-left fringe loonies that see Nazis everywhere. Personally, I didn't even know of that connotation until around 2 years ago. I never visited Buchenwald, I have been to other KZs, and what I took away from them certainly wasn't some parole over a gate. Then there is also a whole argument to be made about not allowing the Nazis to corrupt and control our speech that way and reclaiming the saying for that reason. I can see how american white supremacists would see it as an ideal phrase to copy though.
We are unfortunately watching the left holding the levers of power while having a purity spiral. Nazis are essential to this process as an Other. UEG himself fails to explain what is of interest about the BAYC founders he believes he has uncovered, other than he doesn't believe in a free society where people can say and think what they want. BTW you now have 18 likes.
Just to clarify something you say about the puzzle at 16:56 and the "final solution", "guenon" without the accent ("Guénon" has one and his pronounced "Gaynon") is a french word, it's the feminine forme of monkey. In french monkey is the male, guenon the female. But yeah, that's a lot of coincidences.
Its certainly storage room cork board level. Could be coincidence, could be 4chan black humor level trolling, or could actually be a fascist conspiracy. Either way its a hell of a ride. The Kali Yuga thing is probably the weakest as its a part of the hindu cycle of human civilization, if I understand it correctly.
people who bought the bored apes also find themselves more often than not, superior than others... hm.m... It's as though the BAYC is intended for the superior few who is rich enough to join them... hmmm....
@@avroarchitect1793 yeah kind of interesting to think about but without evens theory of a motive or goal it really just smacks of edge lords or coincidence. Because if you actually wanted to do some evil Nazi stuff it seems like you wouldn’t want to leave a puzzle that shows your whole plot.

Probably intentional too. 4Chan will associate things with Nazism to make them unpalatable to normies, either to make it theirs, or to just kill it outright.
It's funny, and very clever, but they are playing with fire in todays world, the people they aim to trigger do not have a sense of humour, they do not understand irony, and they are just overall bad people. I love Philion, but his vid very much felt more him wanting to be a hero destroying evil 4chan racist. Lots of confirmation bias and lack of understanding the fucked up humor of 4chan. he also links a lot of non nazi shit to nazi shit. like 2666, guenon, he made hemingway sound bad, ludwig wittgenstein. i dont know. i just cant get behind the idea that these 4 jewish, latino, and arab dudes are unironically white supremacist nazis. they just seem like intelligent shitbags
Philion did a poor job because without evidence he basically assigned the motive that the creators must believe the things they are hiding within the project. To me, a person that spends way too much time on the internet, it seems much more likely that they just wanted to pull a legendary troll job on rich people and celebrities and make some money doing it which is commendable. UEG covered this much better than Philion because he didn't assign a motive. UEG coverage on point.
@@Matthew-.- Agreed, Philion's bias' shows through way too much when it comes to his recent content. If you're going to do documentary style content, then it should stick to the facts.
Now, I have not been following the Bored Ape project at all, but I have known about their affiliations I do as well find it quite intriguing how the project has gotten so big with such a loyal following,. Now the question that rose up in my mind during this video is that *what is the end goal of it?* I dont recall hearing them talk about openly about their beliefs, nor have I heard anyone being recruited into these circles. It is also quite interesting hearing about the esoteric Guenon and Evola being talked about.
Judging by the member's history, at least 1 or all of them are esoteric fascists. They believe in things like shared consciousness between people of the same race, and one of the more popular ideas in the space is that all races have certain symbols and ideas that are reoccurring and innately identified with on a spiritual level, and that hiding and spreading these symbols throughout society can be a means of unlocking mass racial consciousness in oppressed people overtime.
It’s probably a scam, and the scammers were like, ‘Let’s be edgy af, and just see how far we can go’ because real nazis wouldnt put this much effort into something that could get them caught this easily. It screams, ‘let’s do this because no one will get it, and if they do it’ll be funny we got this far’
@@sleepyproduction7166 Yeah, this reeks of some knowledgeable 4chan /x/-type guys saying "we know enough to make this look like some fun modern-day esoteric conspiracy" and trolling people for the lulz. Which is pretty funny and a great antidote to the serious business the internet has become with its extreme centralisation, "cancel culture", etc. At least this is orders of magnitude more exciting than another company posting a rainbow-ised version of its logo. (As for the OP, I wouldn't exactly call Evola "esoteric". Maybe Guenon. Though neither have amazingly high specificity or sensitivity as a test for ethnats or adjacent ideologies. Not that it would matter regardless: those guys are fine.)
That's the problem with making such weak connections. To prove a theory like this you need to have actual quotes or actions taken by these people. Instead he has zero. I think the way NFTs are traded and inflated is very scammy but this whole video was low grade research. Like alluding to Julius Evola's work being Nazi facism because NYT and Wikipedia says so. A quick search of his beliefs showed he was in opposition with German Nazi ideas. Not saying he had good ideas but it is strange to claim a neo nazi is secretly praising him.
@@cn.st.182 Isn't that the case with EVERY conspiracy? You just have to look "deep" enough. I'm sure someone can come up with a conspiracy video for just about anything ... but these coincidences ARE interesting nevertheless. And not too far-fetched, considering their own statements and their own past.
@@RyderRipps Sure, probably is. All I'm saying is that the vast majority of people who recognize the phrase "Emperor Tomato Ketchup" have no idea that that movie exists
Actually it's not. If you know anything about BAYC, their character traits and their history, you would know that they place a huge emphasis on history & historical events. The chance that Emperor Tomato Ketchup is referencing a Stereolab album, vs. a historical movie set in an important & famous historical time, is pretty slim.
Guenon without the é is one of the many words for "monkey" in french. It's often synonymous with "female monkey" to be precise. It's also the common name of a specific species of monkey. Thanks to a slight semantic shift, it also used to mean "extremely ugly female", but it's a bit antiquated.
"jedem das seine" in the German understanding of that phrase means: "you get what you deserve (good and bad)" or "everybody makes his own desicions / choices for them selfs." The second Interpretation is way more common than the first by the way. Germans don't use that phrase to mock anyone (at least not anymore). You say "jedem das seine" when somebody makes a decision that you would not have made. It's like shrugging your shoulders.
Watching the video and all the coincidences, the only thing that I can imagine with all this info is; that these 4 guys sound like nihilistic 4chan users., playing a huge prank that went out of control, and now they are enjoying the ride.
Wouldn't be the first time a bunch of 4channers tried something like this to ruin the reputations of NFTs, a while back they did try to get NFTs rebranded as (N slur) for trade and made up evidence to spread on twitter and other sites to make NFTs look like a secret white supremacist hobby. This being an out of control prank in the same vein is certainly possible.
Binance had to change their logo when it was pointed out it resembled the Magic Pinwheel. To Amerinds, Hindus, Buddhists, etc the Magic Pinwheel means a whole different thing then it does when associated with the Austrian Mustache man.
It's so retarded. You have to wonder who's seeing an image of the based pinwheel and having a panic attack. And then you have to wonder whether that person should've passed the test of Darwinian evolution. (Or whether cultural ""sensitivity"" is making them bonkers, which I find a highly compelling argument.)
I've seen another video about this, my opinion is that the main purpose of the project, besides money, was to dupe celebrities into being tied up with nazi imagery. That video contained information suggesting that the creators likely were 4chan users, and that is the type of trolling behavior that I would expect from them.
That is what it actually is, all you have to do is to look at the ethnicity of the creators behind this Ape thing, Wylie Aronow is Je-wish and it should be obvious to everyone who sees his face and he is of Middle-Eastern descent. Same with Greg Solano, also Je-wish who both are scamming gullible White Europeans for money, and channels like this want to frame it on "Whyte suprimism) and I must say I am impressed, at least some people here didn't fall for it, this channel deal in dishonest journalism. Surf the wave, that is a new expression to me as well, though I can see the meaning of it and this channel, my guess is refused to go into depth of that, maybe because there is too much truth to it, can't give the natsees the benefit of predicting the future based on current events and a trend in degeneracy and stupidity, where greed, stupidity and low cultures rules, many States in for example America is turning into a third world country under Marxism, which was implemented into the schools back in yhe 1960s, people today are already contaminated with it and they will sink with it, we are preparing, training, promoting health and basically get out of the cities into the rurals, to grow food and become independent, make ourself stronger and withstand the 3 phase of the marxist agenda in hope we will rise out of it and eventually win. This is a War against Communism, all happening behind the scenes. You can listen to people like in this video or be your own journalist, be unbiased and figure things out for yourself, whatever conclusion you arkivet at is what you think is best for you, regardless, all in all i hope that you will do okay for yourself, that you aren't so fully dependent on a system, which is built on a philosophical contract that can fracture at any given time, it takes 6 weeks to bring Civilization on it's knees and that is what the Communists wants, which is why I advice to looknup Yuri Bezmenov, a Ex KGB defector abiut ideological subversion. 6:47 FWIW regarding the 18th teeth not doing anything to the design is not true, I may be a bit nitpicky but that one last teeth is the difference from the skull having a underbite or not. So overall that is something that is quite essential I would say.
More so, Nazi Germany used many versions of the death's head which didn't have 18 teeth, the Luftwaffe version only had 12 and Panzer had 15, it's the weakest point of this theory but over all it's interesting.

My film teacher aunt has actually watched emperor tomato ketchup so she told me about it, the plot though has nazi imagery was meant to spoofed the nazi and especially emperor hirohito rule by depicting them as literal children performing unimageable amount of debauchery, the name of the film is because the country name got changed to tomato ketchup on whim by the emperor. Quick story on why and how she watched it, she was writing a thesis on Shuji Terayama for her film major during the early 90s, which coincided with 1986 doi moi policy thus opening vietnam to trade alot more freely and allowing a limited "free thinking" to take places in university, inturn letting alot of this banned film slipped under the crack.
@@_EggsBenedict The characters were depicted as children, not for the sake of your [REDACTED] but for the sake of spoofing bad guys. So if we have to ban any movie missused by some people to drop their pants to pleasure themselves we can ban half of the manga genre. Or any coming of age drama. As Aereto pointed out: Stupid people causing stupid bans.
@@hotdognl70 US law, and I presume laws in other countries, are based on the assumption that creating prurient material depicting children is wrong, and the distribution of it is an incentive to make more. Then you have stuff like Cuties, where Netflix decided the best way to let people know about child abuse during film and dance.....was to abuse the children themselves. Yes, its a 'for the children' argument, and those are notoriously easy to pass into law, but you probably should draw the line somewhere. I only just heard of this film, so I don't know about the content in it (like it if was live action or not), but I think comparing manga or anime to a live action film forgets that only one of those forms of medium might need to have a serious "no children were harmed in the creation of this" descriptor.
@@cp1cupcake It is a live action b/w movie. And in all fairness, I can't judge for myself if it was abuse or just kids acting or both, neither to wich degree. That said, it's not the first time artists seem to believe they live by different rules. (Mister R. Kelly anyone?) Nice you mention "Cuties", have you seen it? Controversial for sure, but is it abuse if these kids are just doing on camera what they already did before on Tiktok? That is close to comparing throwing a duck in the water and waterboarding. The controversie should have been more about the normalisation of the behaviour. Certain music video's do more harm in this way by showing kids that it's cool to be a sexy object. And a good part of the Manga is well known for over-sexualized characters talkig with kids voices. By holding these to a different standard the door to normalisation is opened. This particular movie however was ment as a spoof, not as child abuse promotion. Same goes for "Cuties". Banning is pointless, a good rating system and actual enforcement combined with education will be more effective. Regarding laws in general and US specifc: Laws should never be based on assumptions. If certain intentions can be proven, fair. If only gun laws were hold against the same standards as banning movies and other art forms, far more children could be saved!
I think it was Michael Shermer (founder of Skeptic magazine) or Steven Novella (Doctor at the Yale University School of Medicine, founder of the New England Skeptical Society, Skeptics Guide to the Universe, Neurologica) who suggested that instead of using 'conspiracy theory', to use 'theory of conspiracy'. Due to the obvious baggage of the term 'conspiracy theory'.
If that ever became popular all the crazy ones would start using it too, and it would get the same baggage, because they all think their theories are reasonable
@@HappyGingerWolf Perhaps, but in the meantime it functions and it is not a cumbersome term. You can see the exact same thing with the insistence on using UAP, Unexplained Ariel Phenomenon. Even though the term UFO has even more baggage than 'conspiracy theory' does, at leas some people looking for aliens still use the term even though it has long been supplanted by UAP. I would suggest that if 'theory of conspiracy' entered the common lexicon, both it and 'conspiracy theory' would continue to exist at the same time, just as UFO & UAP. Also to note is that in terms of nomenclature it follows how, in the common vernacular, most scientific theories are named, e.g. theory of gravity. Not that the word "theory" carries the weight it should in the common vernacular. Final note, by putting the word 'theory' first instead of 'conspiracy', I would argue that you are priming the brain of the listener/reader in a different way than you would with "conspiracy" being first, given the baggage that 'conspiracy theory' and even just 'conspiracy' have.
@@kavky I have heard that claim before, but I do not know if I believe it, though I would not put it past them. But that said..... I have always thought of it as something like the term 'big bang theory' (literally those three words, not the actual scientific theory) which was actually a _mocking_ term used by proponents of the steady state model of the universe (specifically I think it was Fred Hoyle who coined it). But the term was adopted by those it was intended to mock. I always imagined people using the term to mock those coming up with conspiracies. In a manner like humoring a child by pretending to be weak or by saying how great their art is (you might love it, but no 3 year old even has the fine motor skill of an adult). Humoring the person by adding 'theory' to 'conspiracy'. Even if not started this way, this is how I think it spread. I think the downfall of the word 'theory' to mean 'guess' is actually tied into this. Again, even if not the actual starting point of its downfall, I think this played a huge roll in it. addendum: I like to toss variations of the 'its just a theory' line out in conversation as bait. Theory is a word that carries immense weight and to conflate it with the word 'guess' is the height of ignorance. To my chagrin I have never once been called out on it, people take the bait every single time. I have been doing this for over 20 years now. NOT ONE GODDAMNED PERSON. I am also quick to point out that they took it hook, line & sinker. So they always know it was a test within a moment of it happening. Language changes over time, but technical words, i.e. niche words with strict definitions, as the word theory properly is, stay. Sometimes with little change. Take the Norwegian influence upon English, its mostly technical jargon of a nautical nature that comes from the age of Vikings (more or less).

That's...alot of stretching. Like how the ok handsign was somehow supposed to mean 'whiy powa' (don't want to be hidden by the tube's systems). The logo looking like the W's logo, yeah, I saw that right off the bat. Having spent my time on the boards, yes, the Garga is a reference to what you think it is, it's not a constantly spammed whistle but it comes up often enough in that context, and hardly ever anywhere else in alternate contexts, that unless you have a really strange Smurf's superfan going for it this connection is the only reasonable one to make. Garga probably has spent time (or maybe still spends it) on the boards as well and based off the interview alone he's using tricks that he sees himself as being 'oh so smart' for using because he's mimicking perceived long-nose gang tricks for the benefit of himself and a few buddies, not realizing that such tricks are commonly used by anyone regardless of genetic or cultural affiliation. But beyond that, it's pushing. It's pushing really fucking hard. It's the kind of thing that when you see one or two red flags you become hyper-primed for more, and your brain overcompensates and starts conflating oranges, purples, and pinks for red when they're not meant to be read. The bit with Kali Yuga especially, it is associated so heavily with Indian culture that attempts by ns-guys to incorporate it into their own stuff comes off as straight bullshit. The biggest bit that makes me doubt it's a grand party of '33 scheme is that it fucking sucks. The h-man dedicate a part of his (ungodly bloated) first book to propaganda and how it should be simple, based in some small amount of truth, and convincing. You can see such propaganda all over the internet now, just take a passing look at the original Dark Synthwave and Little Dark Age edits to see how such propaganda with that mindset is made in the current age. Everything with Board Apes though has been sleazy, lazy, and fucking sucks for spreading values or ideologies. My guess? It's four guys scamming the masses, one of them has drank the kook-aid for years and has become the very thing his angsty 16-20 year old self swore to destroy and now wears the shit passively on his sleeve for the edge, while the others are somewhere between idiots and scammers, and one of them *might* be a predator or at least be inclined toward that. Just because there are two or three blatant red flags doesn't mean that every shade of orange, pink, and purple is a hidden red flag.
Heh! The OK hand sign actually started as a prank on 4chan that somehow gained traction in the "Woke" crowd. I wonder if something similar is going on here with "Bored Ape". Regardless, I agree... I think he's either stretching it or reading too much into it.

Roberto Bolaño wasn't a nazi nor a nazi sympathizer. His book was basically a criticism of southamerican literature. But yes, the design of the BAYC logo is clearly intentional.

Thanks Marvel studios for making that reference possible, That's my feeling after watching this and to me another proof how good humans are at pattern recognition and seeing links all and about. Jezz man, what a rabbit hole to go down. It's not a wonder you are so good at RPGs. I would never have thought the number of teeth a skull has would convey any kind of meaning.
A principle within art interpretation is that you see what you want to see, not what was intended. Meaning that the observer isn't always that reliable. The logos for example both have a late 80's-90's punk/grunge/street style which always have been popular. Look at the band Gorilaz. Similar things can be said to everything in the video. I know it is stated multiple times in the video i might just be a coincident, but I still wanted to point it out for a balanced discussion. Also even if the references were to be true they might just be edgelords and find it funny. There were units of the SS comprised of Indians who were of the Hindu religion, Chinese, Koreans, Black Africans, Arabs. Up to 25% of the German Armed Forces in ww2 were of non European ie non white origin. There were black Germans who were in the Nazi Party.
On one hand it's all circunstance and I don't think it's appropriate to make such heavy acusantions without stronger evidence. -The only time you can write over (best to do it around) a dead artists work is to write RIP not notify others or pay respect. It’s rare because being involved you’d know if they were dead anyway

Just to clarify something you say about the puzzle at 16:56 and the "final solution", "guenon" without the accent ("Guénon" has one and his pronounced "Gaynon") is a french word, it's the feminine forme of monkey.

6:47 FWIW regarding the 18th teeth not doing anything to the design is not true, I may be a bit nitpicky but that one last teeth is the difference from the skull having a underbite or not. So overall that is something that is quite essential I would say.
Yup, as an artist it's one of those things you see that maybe some others would not.
More so, Nazi Germany used many versions of the death's head which didn't have 18 teeth, the Luftwaffe version only had 12 and Panzer had 15, it's the weakest point of this theory but over all it's interesting.
@@NightCrawler69 It isn't about the actual skull design its about the "calling card" of the neo-nazis, which they have quite a few numbers that would fit the teeth. Yea its weak but combined with it actually being pretty close to the SS patch its bad.
@@eaasports4479 I don't know. The logo design is pretty standard. A circle, with something inside, and text on the outside. Replace BA YC with EST 1980 and you can find a ton of logos with that design.

Rather unfortunate that such films are banned in general, when most are not intelligent enough to understand what is propaganda.
@@Aereto it
it had child-[REDACTED] in it
@@_EggsBenedict The characters were depicted as children, not for the sake of your [REDACTED] but for the sake of spoofing bad guys.
(Mister R. Kelly anyone?)
Nice you mention "Cuties", have you seen it?
"conspiracy theory" was popularized by the CIA as a way to discredit whistleblowers and anyone who pointed out their conspiracies.
The point is whether it is a conspiracy or not, or whether it is a theory or not, it makes no difference to whether, or not, it actually is a thing.

It's a platform for pure profit, sucking funds out of idiots and occupying annoying headspace in the cultural short-term memory.

You save money, don't have to waste time brushing it or setting it in a certain way, easier to wash etc etc etc.
I disagree. Finasteride and MIN have helped my head tremendously. Just ask your doctor for a generic finasteride perscription and buy 6 months of topical MIN at Costco.
@@yathercantillano3874 "Just ask your doctor" It's very likely that wont do anything. In Denmark where I live we have very strict rules and what not about medicin. And last time I asked we didn't sell anything hair related through our doctors, for the simple reason that non of it has been found to work as good as advertised, or there is too many chemicals that are gonna do more harm then good.
But good for you that you are one of those 0.1% of people who it actually help. Although I'd argue that there could be other reasons that your hair came back, stuff like maybe you're less stressed or some such. But if it works it works I suppose.
You are such a well refined and mature channel, yet the name is Upper Echelon Gamers. I just find that juxtaposition funny.
