She went back to Thailand because her channels not earning a whole lot so she needs cheap hotels, cheap food & cheap THC (also legal) so where better than Thailand that way she can stay for a month + plus eat and get high for cheap. She may hate it but its the level she can comfortably afford
Also it is a popular place for visa runs because I think the process of getting one there is less expensive than in other places. Certainly far less expensive than if she went all the way back to Canada. She needs to stay for such a long time because tourist visas can only be extended for a certain period of time and it leaves several weeks where she'd either have to stay in Kuwait illegally or leave Kuwait. She could have used it as an opportunity to visit a couple of different places (this time and the last time which was the first time they did it) but she wants to stay in Thailand for the weed.
