That is the heart of the gospel.

Please do a video on Colossians 2. Even a short. I think it is huge bcs for some it seems easy to understand but God made me open UA-cam and ask you so I won’t lean on you but hear you and just trying to learn at least your perception. God told me to read this as if his voice was angry at Him. Not possible but please explain what you think about the knowledge and mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Seems like it’s what everyone in life wants but can’t get. I was catholic and heard your dad years ago and then watched debates on evolution and stuff and realized Jesus is God. The trinity is still confusing but I repent I have sinned a lot and cannot hear but I still have ears and fingers so hopefully you can respond. I read the following verses. My focus is on Colossians 2
So if you surly have his love you won’t be able to contain it to yourself anymore because you know what you’d be hiding from everyone else! Does it make it out of book to tell others of his love as a woman?
But If love is who he is, and we are his children, love wants to give, but does it have prejudice against if the love comes from or goes to a man or woman? NO

Your desire to do the will of God is NOT the evidence of you being IN CHRIST. It's the evidence of the Spirit of God convicting you of sin, righteousness, and judgment and He is striving with you to come to the cross. The man Romans 7 is SOLD under sin but the man in Romans 8 is set free from sin by cooperating with the Spirit to put to death the deeds of the body.
I get where your coming from, I've just been there. However it IS a sign your in him because Believing is all it takes. when I got faith through encouragement I started living in Christ.
Your main concern, therefore, is with the presence of Jesus Christ. Your main concern lies in dwelling continually upon the God who is within you. Then, without particularly thinking of self-denial or "putting away the deeds of the flesh," God will cause you to experience a natural subduing of the flesh! You can be sure of this: The Christian who has faithfully abandoned himself to the Lord will soon discover that he also has laid hold of a God who will not rest until He has subdued everything! Your Lord will put to death all that remains to be put to death in your life. This is from the author Jeanne Guyon
I know Dan speaks well when he preaches identity but it's based on the assumption that the person you're speaking to is actually IN HIM. There's only one way in and that's through the narrow gate. It's suffering to take up your cross and deny yourself. It's painful to die and likewise put the death the deeds of the body by the Spirit, but the scripture clearly states that those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with it's passions and desires and have totally submitted themselves to the Lord. The problem isn't stepping into the new man, it's putting off the old man. There is a transforming of the mind because the word takes root in the fertile ground of a heart broken up in repentance. SUBMIT to God and He will lift you up. Be blessed brothers and sisters in Christ
I appreciate the overall heart in Dan’s message. However, please be careful of the error he makes in pitting the Gospel against itself. He is emphasizing the resurrection, reconciliation, new creation, chosen-before-the-foundation of the world part of the Gospel by stepping on the original sin, enemies of God, wretched part of the Gospel. We have to be more mature theologically to see how it is both/and and it’s glorious. The sin part sweetens the love and resurrection part all the more. He’s essentially preaching Wesleyan theology without acknowledging Wesley’s (and every other Christian theologian’s) emphasis on original sin. He’s right to call out the underemphasis on the other parts, though. I pray he grows in his ability to understand and reconcile these two messages.
@@GermoStaalfeldt communion with God is key, always ☺️ Basically, he is saying we aren’t enemies of God in our sin before being saved, which is a grievous error. He does correctly emphasize God’s love for us after we are saved, though. Here’s a verse he should meditate on more: “Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you...” Romans 11:22 The idea that God is both just in condemning sinners and abounding with love for those who are in Christ.
Dan is sloppy with his words, I’ll give you that. I’ll also give you that he sounds very Wesleyan, probably because he’s a charismatic, which theologically descends from the Methodists and Wesley. However, I agree with the Wesleyan idea of perfect love, and I think a hamartiology that denies the fact that we have the option to not sin and yet we sin anyway is too weak on sin. That’s essentially Wesley’s idea, that we became enemies of God even though God gave us the ability to not to, but God in his mercy gave us an opportunity for power to overcome sin and gave us redemption instead of condemnation, or (to use Dan’s words) he saw us for what we could be and chose to look at the children of God he wants us to be instead of the wretches that we are. Furthermore, if we put off the old sinful nature and become a new creature in Christ, we cannot attach the old wretched identity to us anymore because it has passed away, but instead we put on the identity and the substance of the bride. This is essentially the idea I’m pretty sure Dan’s preaching, but I’m not a fan of how he articulates things.
This is assuming you have actually repented of your sins and have Become a new creation in Christ first. If you haven’t been born again, this won’t work. Great message btw
