Truth be told, this French team does not give enough attention or respect to possession of the football and control of the game.
If they had gotten through and played like this against Spain their only hope would have been that Enrique countinues with Morata up front.

Leaders like these are always the ones to come forward in such situations. Petr Cech, Hugo Lloris were always sent when chel and tot lost and they both handled it so well. Both of them are the most underrated. Yes. Even cech. Because those who have seen Petr know that no one...ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in the entire history of football was a better goalkeeper than him except THE GOAT himself Gigi.

Honest and humble, Lloris analysed the game very well. In the end it was down to the "grinta" as spanish says or what us belgians call " la Gniack" : sheer strength of willpower. And the penalties as he said, it's a lottery... and Sommer kept his cool while Mbappe came for me a bit too arrogantly and "messed" his shooting, allowing the swiss keeper to lure him into overconfidence and shoot where and how he wanted to be able to stop him !
But the one who wrote the scenario of yesterday's two games should be hired to write movie or series scenarii in Hollywood so much it was thrilling up to the end!

    The saying goes like this...........
"POGBA IS ONLY GOOD TILL HE LOSES A BALL SILLY THAT HE COULD HAVE EASILY PASSED TO A TEAMMATE IN MIDFIELD THEREFORE STARTING AN OPPONENT'S COUNTER ATTACK N DOESN'T SHOW ANY URGENCY IN RECOVERING IT. COZ IT ALWAYS ENDS UP IN A GOAL."
