Lots of rough climbing to scout unfamiliar rapids. I love the rapids, but all day clinging to the side of a steep gorge to scout is enough to make me go elsewhere. The problem is that you should scout it every run if the runs are more than a weather system apart, since rains and wind can lay wood in the stream without warning. Maybe you guys could use drone scouting - something to think about.
Welcome to north Idaho. Where the wood is as much a staple of our whitewater as the whitewater is. Boulder Creek is a classic. It’s a great spot for canyoning in the summer for some of us locals as well.
@@unreal8058 yeah! We start at Grunge Poser(the drop right before the Portage) and go down through the unrunnable gorge, finishing at Magnolia. We the ascend a fixed line out of the canyon and hike out back to the road.
How dare you be a good friend and try to help me get out of the death hole. No one is allowed to touch my kayak 😎
Wow. Turned into something, didn't it. I liked when they guy sealed launched, missed the eddy and disappeared over a large horizon line. Good times.
You boys are wild! Love it!
Love it thanks for sharing the adventure
Thanks!
