Hands down the warmer palette looks better on you - could be the colors you're wearing, or you are just a warm neutral gal. The lighter one would look better on me with my pal skin/blue cool undertone. How do you think it compares to Salt New York or MOB Beauty? Looks like it would be good for traveling too. Great review Linda! Thank you
I'm definitely getting these products! It is truly insane how it just looks like it's your skin but when you look straight ahead you can see the color. Talk about self blending. I will be purchasing these through your link (incase you get kickback). Also, I forgot that movie existed at 9:05. Thank you for that memory being pulled to the forefront of my mind. Ha ha😂
Dang, Linda! You are CRANKING out the content. Have you slept in the last week, girl?! Both palettes look beautiful on you. Daybreak is more "natural" on you, but I know that High Noon is more the tones you tend to gravitate towards. Glad you ended up enjoying both so much since they are pricey. 😊
To be honest, the fact that you can use two of three shades tells us all we need to know regarding the shade range. The tones do not appeal to me as a fair-light person because I don't feel like they would suit me, especially the bronzer. I totally understand that Auric is a smaller brand, but if Salt NY can do inclusive shades at a MUCHHH better price, then so can they. I am also very disappointed by the fact that they silenced and restricted POC voices when they spoke up against this; it was an absolute turn off for me from the whole brand. Samantha has been in the industry for years, she should know better and do better, from the launch.
I belief and I could be wrong, but I think her intention is that you can build on these products to make them darker. It’s her whole premise of how she likes blushes for instance. She always like it when you start barely able to see the pigment but able to build it without looking patchy.
Allies are one thing but speaking over poc voices aggressively is another. I’m mixed and I think the range is fine. I think a cream product that sets down well and is inclusive to combo and mature skin is a win.
The Josie and the Pussycats 2001 movie clip had me rolling 😂🤣😆😂 I love that movie. The face palettes are a skip for me because I'm an oily skin gal. Not big on cream products. But great comparisons! 🤟🏾
High Noon is a little warmer but that's the only difference I can see on the skin. Which is wild because there are only 3 shades. Samantha did such a good job on the shade range of Glow Lust that this is extra disappointing. Also the brand's reaction to people calling the shade range and swatches out is ridiculous. When Salt New York exists at the price they are and the shade range they have this release from Auric is embarrassing. Kiki and Sam are friends plus Sam has raved about the Salt New York formula before. I really like Sam and we are both from BC but this launch is not it.

Both looked pretty on you, gf! Then again, so does everything! ❤

Use daybreak for every day wear. Use high-noon for parties or more glamor or going out
I'm so happy you're trying this you're the first one I've seen I'm so intrigued by these
You should also check out Tom's reviews on this one! (HauteMessTom) They did a great try-on as well.
Both look great on you but I’m drawn more to daybreak. I would wear daybreak too. Love my Auric products.
Even after doing the comparison, I'm still not sure which I like better!
I love Sam. I dont know why her makeup doesnt blow up
Auric is super thoughtful about their releases and they take a while in between them, so I really appreciate that.
High noon!! But both look great on you
I'm so torn on which I like better!

First review of this! I love it can’t wait to try :)
They're so lovely - hope you enjoy!

Baltimore City in the house 🏠 ❤❤❤
Beautiful! How long did it last on the cheek?
Thanks for the review. That tool you showed in the bag comes with iPhones to get your SIM card out.
OMG hahaha you’re so right! I’ve been using it for years to pop magnetic pans out of palettes. We love a multi use tool!

Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it, but *WHAT* is on your eyes?! 🤩
Haha I did mention it, and also linked it in the description box, but it is the Auric Smoke Reflect in Defiance.

A happy mistake.❤
I do not like the owner of this brand, so I will not purchase anything.
Why not, has she done something problematic?
@@heidirgreen yes what has she done? She’s one of my fave creators.
