Bigger is better, generally easier to fly. I’ve flown 7 meter RC sailplanes, and they are way easier to fly than a 2 meter. So as the aircraft gets bigger, yes it goes faster, but because of size, looks slower and you react better and more smoothly with control inputs. Remember, air molecules don’t change size, so the bigger airfoils need less lift than smaller, and especially thinner, airfoils.
Guys, I have to say this is the coolest plane I’ve seen on here as far as realism goes. The landing gear going up really got my attention. Then the sound. The slow sexy flyby gave me GOOSEBUMPS. The P-40 is not my favorite plane but this model is amazing! The post flight raising of the gear was perfect! One gear before the other finished going up first, then the second one finished going up. That's the way the gear works on the real plane.

Excellent flight and plane. After 2 years I am coming back again to flying.
In some ways, this model, this flight is a tribute to a time of conflict now 89 years past. As a lifetime. What a smooth, beautiful model and at the hand of a craftsman. Very nice filming....also to a design that emerged from the fires of battle
and men.

I just had to watch this for the 5th or 6th time and most likely I will watch it that many more. It’s got to be the best flight ever and a large sexy war bird as well. The flight and landing was great and big salute to Capt Blaz for the best filming ever. The sky was perfect for this flight. This will be my go to video when I have bad days since I still can’t walk much and can’t outside to try to fly anything. You guys keep me on a steady course. Yes, giant scale helps distribute the weight, most smaller warbird models have high wing loading, making them very difficult for RC pilots to handle.
I have a Veteran friend who is very fond of the P-40, I will have to get one of these in honor of him, take him to the field & fly this with him..if it is possible, I want to see him fly this bird.. it is large and docile, I like giant scale as trainers as they are easily seen and calm reacting.. this is a VERY nice plane! I AM IN LOVE ..AGAIN! My "brothers in RC", thank you again.. this is your calling, excellent video.. I have to order one of these QUICK! BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE!😉👍

The scale speed was perfect, to many people fly warbird as if the were jet powered.
The only thing that plane needs is a sound module, then you could give it a 12
