Great video and commentary! Unfortunately, the developers, general contractors and crews do not care if building more retail makes no sense. If they can continue to secure funding from the public and private sector, gain tax abatements and also city approval…. They will keep building. It’s similar to the over malling that occurred in the steel/rust belt decades ago.
Yeah, that one is a huge loss. I wish Universal would buy it and preserve it because of its history (maybe create a Back to the Future attraction there).
Was at UCF in the '90s and this place was booming then.
I was class of 2000 at UCF. Orlando Fashion Square was huge back then. I can't believe how far it has fallen.
