I love how your opportunities are so abundant and true to your personal brand. You guys live so down to earth in sweden and throughout your travels. And then your traveling with your daughter having authentic grounded journalistic experiences. GOALS even tho im sure its not easy.
“Having experiences like this ground me to what’s important, outside of the world of what’s trending.” - Maya 2023 🤯🙌🏽 Yes Maya!! The world is so much more grand than the curated IG post. The values that really allows communities to not only survive, but thrive.
You guys are official videographers! The content lately is just tooo good! ❤️ This is important work that you both are doing, while also having fun and exploring the world.
I love seeing how you guys are growing as a couple, as a family, and as artists who produce documentaries that are top notch. TV is lacking in good content these days and I'd rather watch your documentaries. Seeing inside the house where they live and work was truly amazing! You work so well together and I can't wait to see what's next!
Maya & Max, going to Casa Materna, helping other women was so refreshing to see! Helping others, while not putting ourselves 1st is such a kind act ! I love & wish I could see more vlogs like this! Blessed Sunday!
Your videos make me so happy! I love that you have made a community in almost every stop of your adventure. The food and culture look so amazing. Thank you for sharing with us. Watching Saga enjoy herself is always a bonus. ☺
Mya and Max this is the true essence of life! I just adore your hearts, tuning in weekly and feel so privileged to take in some of your experiences. My heart is truly warmed by the souls you've been able to meet. Thank you for sharing with us, this has been such an immersive experience and I am so grateful for y'all!
Loved seeing San Juan and San Pedro, meeting the Midwives and all the beautiful Familia. I appreciate your perspectives and vulnerability in sharing these stories. It's not what is trending but what it is you are tending. Big Love!
This was a beautiful, inspiring video. I have been following for many years, and the amount of growth and unity is so empowering to see.❤ I'm passionate about women's health and recently presented on black women's maternal health. So seeing this vlog was inspirational and insightful. Can't wait to see more! ❤️
I went to Guatemala years ago. Its so popular right now. It was beautiful to see you both travel off of the beaten path. I love how you curate your life together, such a blessed love/family.
Thanks for sharing this vid as your important work that brings awareness to women in remote and social impact to educate and offer maternity alternatives. Living your life with service and purpose is so fulfilling. Saga is so beautiful and growing up so fast. Maya your glow is back...hair is healthy ...stunning.
I work in public health and have always been fascinated in maternal/child health. I LOVEEE how you captured these community programs that are making a difference in these mama’s lives ❤❤
So happy that you documented the strong mothers and extraordinary midwives at the clinic. As a veteran birth doula, I am interested in midwifery practices and birthing culture in various countries. Thanks so much for bringing the maternity clinic to life. Look forward to experiencing further journeys with your family.
I haven’t finished the video yet but I’m already feeling so joyful. The way your family is living is inspiring. And the stories you are sharing is equally inspiring and beautiful. Thank you so much for providing this content ❤️ I love this channel.
There was something so wholesome and heartwarming about this video. I loved seeing all these towns, places I would probably never hear about, and seeing how they live. I love that even with the language barrier there was so much love and understanding. That was my favorite part. I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the long video I was a little hesitant to click on it but as soon as it started I was instantly sucked in to the adventure. Yall dipped your toe into the Documentary game and I know with the quality you displayed, its only up from here. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I love this new format. Feel very documentary Style!!! I remember drinking coffee there EVERY DAY! Our group had visited a plantation and we learned that is where Starbucks, Dunkin Donut and Nescafe take the coffee from (one of the countries). You can feel the atmosphere when you go to a Starbucks. Very good job on showing some of the reality of your daily 🥰
Watching all of this unfold makes me sooo happy. Loved this closing insight to your travels. Loved your recs re the areas you travelled to and worked in, and the light you're shining on Casa Maternas. Max your editing for this whole travel series has been so bangin. Thank you for sharing your life and truths with us Max, Maya and Saga.
New subscriber here and I LOVE your videos and your beautiful family. Your vlogs are inspiring and capture the love between you two and your beautiful Saga🌸
👍I appreciate you guys and your loving caring giving spirits. 🙏💝 🤔Based on my own visits throughout South America, including Guatemala - where you guys are visiting - those people who live in the outer remote areas away from the larger city areas have abuelas/grandmothers of the area that help the younger people deliver their babies and teach them the old ways…the way to do things….are you guys telling me that those indigenous people don’t have that…..anymore??? The indigenous people of the area have been delivering babies long before those maternity centers/hospitals ever existed. If you’re saying that the indigenous people who live there in the remote areas “ need” those resources because the abuelas/older women & grandmothers are no longer there or no longer able to deliver babies then that’s something that needs to be discussed because I’m shocked. 😩😭💝
This video reminds me of the days when I volunteered with medical & construction teams in Mexico 🥹🥹 best time in my life❤., what a blessing to do have these experiences as a family 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I LOVE THIS!!!! The beauty and positive vibes of all of the women (and Max😊) show through in this video. What an important topic to bring to the for fronts of our minds -education access, woman’s healthcare, child birth complications and solutions! I am so inspired 😊❤❤❤. This channel, your family is phenomenal. I’m always grateful for your post. I can’t imagine the work and dedication it takes to put it together. Thank you Maya, Max and Saga 😊
So wonderful to see you educate us about preeclampsia. It’s a big issue. Here in the United States women die as well from this. I can’t imagine being anywhere where healthcare isn’t close enough to help you. Those conditions are more common than you think - even in the United States. Watching your family is such a plus. ❤❤❤❤
That was so nice of her to invite you in her home for a meal with her family!!! What you said about helping others and being part of a community are values that truly speak to me. Unfortunately, it's something I haven't managed to manifest and embody in my life, so thanks a lot for sharing and inspiring us!!! ❤️❤️❤️ the video was focused on pregnancy and childbirth but I was wondering if the center was adressing other sexual and reproductive health topics.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience of meeting new people new cultures, as a family and as inviduals. Even Saga is having her share of it,that's great👍🏼 Glad you didn't enjoy that hippie place by the lake, me neither. As an aside, Maya your hair 🤩🤩🤩, could you take some minutes to tell about it next time. Take Care you all, God bless.
This was such a genuine video. Great stuff. Also, the reason they laughed when you said sopa de polla instead of pollo is because polla is slang for the male organ 😅. Such an easy thing to mix up 😊.
As someone who almost died during childbirth (less than a year ago), this video is so special to me. Thank you for your work spotlighting midwives and your care for mothers❤❤
Maya, don't feel bad about not knowing Robbie Williams. Black American living in the UK. He's English and he never really hit in the US despite all of his very many efforts. Not knowing him is not a sign of falling off.
“It’s really about doing life with community and helping others while being inspired.” - Maya 2023 👑💪🏽
Eloquently said
So beautiful to see families that loves each other and actually enjoys being in each others company.
We were really inspired by how close the families are and how divorce does not exist 🤯🤯🤯
You two really got into your documentary filmmaking bag on this video. I LOVE it. The way you’ve captured these women and your life is so beautiful! ❤
Yes! Such beautiful shots. If the bts is this good I’m so excited for the doc 😃

I can't get over that clip of saga sticking her head out the window in the intro. I smile so hard every time. Just the purest childhood joy 😊

Lovely couple hahaha Quetzalteca .Q baby child 😮
14:35 Maya inspired! 😊
Great Video ❤ Does Max keep an Epi pen with him? Just checking since you're on the go 😊
Big part of this video had no text. Missed all what is said during those parts! Sad! 😥
This was such a genuine video. Great stuff. Also, the reason they laughed when you said sopa de polla instead of pollo is because polla is slang for the male organ 😅. Such an easy thing to mix up 😊.
I remembee you mentioning about your work for Casa Materna a week or 2 ago on your Shameless Maya channel.
Interesting.
Toddler has well developed taste buds from foods around the world.
12:55 ❤

❤
As someone who almost died during childbirth (less than a year ago), this video is so special to me. Thank you for your work spotlighting midwives and your care for mothers❤❤
This was a nice video, But I do they know why the babies are born blind, have they researched that reason?
I get motion sickness as well. There are acupressure wristbands that I find very effective. ❤
Could be the frequent changes to Maya's living environment affects her ability to settle down to sleep.
Maya, don't feel bad about not knowing Robbie Williams. Black American living in the UK. He's English and he never really hit in the US despite all of his very many efforts. Not knowing him is not a sign of falling off.
❤❤😊😊🇬🇹🇬🇹
You guys should host a go fund me for them to build another womens clinic. I would donate. ❤
Maya I like your earrings
Lol, throw that cocktail back Maya!
First yay
