Elephants have been my favorite pretty much all my life, and im just shy of 62. To watch the majestic beauties is so relaxing, funny at times, and scary also. Thank you so much for the videos. And for protecting and caring for these beauties.

I c that the baby DID get up the steep-hill-stump! I love watching elephants. I want 2 OWN 1 ONE DAY!!!!!
Tiny baby elephant has extremely focused eyes. Mum proved Jamie wrong. Mama elephant rumbled to the herd, "It's time to cross over now". And, she rumbled to her baby, "you can make it up." The baby obeyed & trusted mama. Also, mama elephant motioned her TRUNK towards the young bull to step back away from them; so that she could help the little 1 up the grassy stump. Bull moved back & baby made it up stump. What a very calm & disciplined mum elephant. She must also be a matriarch. I disagree w/ Jamie; I know that elephants DO understand human language & they seem to love prooving humans wrong.

I think the baby hears her(commentator )talking. Looks like a family herd of ELEPHANTS. I PRAY they all liveLONG in this herd. I think theMOTHER is a matriarch. The baby wants 2 take a nap. It's eyes r so focused.

Do you think it could be that they put their head sand, because they think there hiding? Like they can't see you, maybe they think you can't see them.
Or because they don't know yet how to throw sand, but want to get the sand on them just like them adults do.
My favorite thing on this wonderful planet is baby elephants. However I wonder is water so limited that they must drink from this tiny spring?
