@@peteberry6425 Nice! How are you getting on with the Keeway? Good luck with theory and DAS. Will you be sticking with the cruiser once you have your full licence?
My in-laws live in Ruthin so I’ve passed the Ponderosa many times but never been in. At the age of 41 I’ve decided 2025 is the year I become a biker!! ..so perhaps I will visit soon and be one of the gang!
Worth a visit! Especially if you are becoming a biker in 2025! Good luck, you will love it. What sort of bikes interest you? Thanks for watching and the comment.
@ I like all sorts of bikes to be honest but the naked sports heritage bikes are probably where I’m heading. XSR700, Z650rs or similar. Considering a 125 for a few months to get some experience on a bike before going for the full licence. Would you recommend the 125 route? or just go all in and do the bike license and get a big bike first? I had a 50cc scooter when I was 16 and that was in 1999 so it’s been a while since I’ve ridden any type of motorcycle.
I personally bought the 125 for £3500 (brand new) and owned this for about 8 months which gave me ample amount of time to build my skills and confidence. I did 3000 miles on that bike and thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said when I came to sell it had devalued. So it is a trade off if you are prepared to take a bit of a hit financially (but you don't have to buy a brand new 125!) You maybe better off saving your money and putting into training and extra days of training with a motorcycle school (RMT I highly recommend) on the 125 and the bigger cc bike.
@@mikeversys yeah I knew it wasn't tintern Abbey but Bo was convinced 🤣 completely different part of Wales 😂 I noticed the glamping style tents, but wasn't aware of what the Abbey was called. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 👍
Enjoyed that, there were some stunning views! look forward to the next one

@Beginner2BadassBiker I'm on a keeway rkv125c at the moment, but taking my theory on the 12th, and hoping to do my direct access next year

@Beginner2BadassBiker not too bad in all, enjoying it, how are you getting on with your bike? Still enjoying it?
And thankyou!
@Beginner2BadassBiker I'll be looking at getting a tourer eventually
The short journey from the Ponderosa to Llangollen was my favourite part of our trip in the summer
It is a gorgeous road with some spectacular scenery. Have you got plans for a trip next year?

@ thanks for the great advice 👍. All the best!
It’s a good road the 483 from Newtown 👌
@@MrNeilparry1 yeah we really enjoyed the road. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
We are very lucky having many great roads here in north wales 👍 some of the best hidden gems 💎 ATB Trev
ATB Trev you are indeed! Wales has some pretty phenomenal roads and scenery.
That’s not Tintern Abby that’s on A466 towards Chepstow, it’s Valle Crucis Abbey.
It’s got a great campsite. Good video though.

What do you consider to be a badass biker? I see the complete anti thesis to that. Unless it's a joke 😉
Yes it is a bit of an inside joke with MANY meanings.... Take from that what you will 🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting 😊 ride safe
