Gracias Stee Lauder xq no represento mi edad 🤭😘

This is a wonderful tribute to the great Estee Lauder. However, the gift with purchase she adopted from Madame CJ Walker.

I loved listening to this wonderful story of Estee. I am 72 years old and have been wearing Youth Dew since I was 18 years old.❤❤❤

She was one of the greats in Beauty Business history. Too bad her company is now focused on Acquisitions rather than product development and keeping the customers that they already have. Every time I love a product from Estée Lauder or Clinique, it disappears .... Estée Lauder's Sensitive skin line was fantastic- it disappeared and then the cleanser reappeared as the La Mer cleansing lotion, at 3 times the price. That is not conducive to brand loyalty. They are losing customers by the boatload, because they forgot about the customers, and what customers need and want.

I remember reading that there was a type society folklore of sorts due to the name change and having it appear French because she did not want it known she is Jewish . That she feared if it was known she is Jewish that it could possibly cause antisemitism , that not only could it be that possibility of her being in danger but that her business could also. That the holocaust was still fresh and in the front of the Jewish community. I’m not positive any of that is true but I do remember reading an article long ago about her and if my senior citizen brain is remembering correctly that is what it said.

So basically she kind of lucked out by being born into a family that had a successful business and, be an uncle that was a chemist I don't know where the money came from for the lauder business but it sounds like they had some connections. Help doesn't it helps to have connections, it must be nice

Life is too short. To achieve all this, and not have the time to enjoy the fruit of all this labor. It's sad. Human life expectancy should be 200 years for geniuses. There should be a natural clock is our body that calculate this automatically. And the result would be that someone at 104 would look like a 54 year old, based on what he accomplished in life. But that's not the way things work.
