When David was dressed in a suit he was very handsome. My brother and I would sing Major Tom into an old tape recorder when we were young. I miss those days. RIP David.

He's not dead he's on Dead Popstar Island the other side of Antarctica. Along with Michael Jackson, Prince and the rest of them and that's coming from someone who became a Bowie freak at 14 years of age when I saw him singing Starman on Top of the Pops. I met him at The Blitz club and shook his hand but I was too overawed to talk to him but my Love is still with him, wherever he is.
Thank you David for being there for us all.

How insulting to ask him if he's short of money. The interviewer sounds very pompous. I hope it was a joke, but maybe not. Now I know where Simon Cowell gets his attitude from.

I still can’t believe he’s gone. I heard his latest release…Be Real…and I keep thinking “Well, David Bowie may have died BUT Davey Jones may still be alive and perhaps he wanted for Bowie to die and spend time with Iman and Lexi privately.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m actually related to him and possibly even his younger sister. I had dear friends who partied with him in Chicago when he was doing The Elephant Man.
It’s just so damn unfair that even my best friends got to meet him and spend time with him and I never did. Not fair atoll. 😢

David stage characters share emotional aloofness. His brother was diagnosed schizoid personality. Bowie consistent frenzied schizoid artistry mirrors his brother illness.

Did you know him and his brother personally? It sounds like you must have to know all that much about them.
Or did you read about it in a magazine?
An academic book on psychology that used Davy’s relationship with (what was his brother’s name again?) his brother as an example of a famous sibling who grew up with a “schizoid personality” and how this famous sibling who most everyone knows as David Bowie instead of his real name which is David “Davy” Jones…like the guy in The Monkees only David Robert Jones is a much superior musician in comparison with Davy Jones (who I had a little crush on when I was a little girl)!
Do you REALLY think “Bowie consistent frenzied schizoid artistry mirrors his brothers illness“?
I’m completely serious in asking this question…I’m a retired clinical psychologist with quite a lot of research under my belt and would be truly interested on how you came to such a conclusion?
I would also like to know what conclusions you would draw if it was his sister instead of his brother?
This will be a fascinating discussion and it’s happening right here on UA-cam in the messages!
How lucky was I to run into you here?
*So very nice to meet you. I’m Dr. Julien Arbor who used to work as a clinical psychologist with an additional degree in clinical health psychology. I practiced under my married name (different from my current name) for many, many years before I retired and have since been conducting several research studies, working on a few books as well as starting a whole new career as the founder and CEO of two family related NFPOs. I would have David Robert Jones become a part of it as well as Iman and Lexi if they wanted to. All of them are more than welcome.
