@projectortop, thanks for the review, i am currently using benq tk800 and happy with it for the past 4 years, however i have 150ft screen and the tk800 cant fill up and limited to 130ft at 15ft TD due to room limitations, my primary use is for watching videos and movies, and i jave good deal on a used lg hu810pw that i wanted to get, how do the 710sti and hu810pw compare. In the TD calculator lg also seems to be reaching the physical room limits for placing and benq seems to be rather short to mediaum throw projector, any thoughts appreciated.
thanks for video, no one else had a comparsion for this. I wanting it for a golf simulator. I have an option to buy a 700sti thats a year old for $800. i wanted the 710sti but would be full price. do you think the $1000+ price difference would be worth it and getting the 710 over the 700 ?
For a golf simulator, the 700STi should be good enough. However, if you're planning to buy a used one, we recommend purchasing an additional bulb, as the halogen bulb in the TK700STi often doesn't reach the manufacturer’s declared 4,000-hour lifespan.
@@ProjectortopHi! I’m here for the exact same use case: Golf Sim. You mentioned in the video that the 710 performs better in ambient light. In a golf sim, there will be track lighting to illuminate the hitting area. Does that warrant going with the 710? All other feature difference are negligent to me for the golf sim purpose. Thanks!
@@romansantos2241 We measured the brightness difference between the two models to be less than 7%, so for a golf simulator, you can confidently go with the TK700STi. The performance difference in ambient lighting is minimal, especially if you have track lighting in your setup.

@@Projectortop thanks! This is so helpful. Another question have you tested and what to you think of the BenQ AH700ST?
